What are the best players that can play 4K UHD, BD, DVD, CD, and local files on a USB without issue?

If you're happy to rip the disks to MKV files then a computer with a specific BD drive with modified firmware will work. If you want to just insert the disk and play then it won't.

I haven't done it myself, sorry. I did look it up and there are some blog posts and forum threads about it.

Almost any LG drives are recommended.
I've flashed them, one from 8 years ago and one from 2023. Thought the latter was patched and couldn't be a libredrive, but apparently not.
