I prefer pencil and paper but I avoid it so that I can share my notes and shit. Rather than transcribing it or taking pictures and trying to explain my handwriting.

got an old Kindle Scribe on huge discount, amazing for hand writing notes and also can export to PDFsometimes writing notes helps me retain information so much better than typing them
I use a uniball shift and a clic eraser for work when developing blueprints, sometimes I'll go in afterwards with an extra fine marker once things are done to have a permanent map.

Only in the morning when I don't feel like staring at a screen, or when I'm watching videos cause it helps me remember.I tried to write drafts using pen and paper but not being able to move stuff around is too stifling.
