Since Debian elections it's not called Debian anymore. Debian was Debra+Ian, but now it is Sruthi+Bharat=Sruthirat. There are plans to change official GNU+Linux Sruthirat logo too - instead of dark red color it'll be orange or brown.

Debian is fine. Personally I use Ubuntu because it's more polished and I don't have to wait 2 years+ for feature updates.

Arch Linux is the distro with no sane configs, and requires a literal Wiki so you don't break your shit.
