What can you do with an old android tablet? Is there a good way to use it as a second monitor? I got it years ago to read comics but I don't really read comics anymore so now I rarely use it outside of the rare occasion I go to an NRA high power match because we use the electric mic targets and those transmit your hits back on some wifi LAN webpage thing and if I bring my own tablet I don't need to share an Ipad
De-Google it, and turn it into an offline entertainment, information and navigation tool.

>>108634375Not really. It's a tablet I got for free 10 years ago, and I can design the face to show different alerts. I want to redesign it to look more like a speedometer than a clock.

I mounted my kids' old tablet on my fridge with a magnet adhesive strip. Used this tablet for youtube in the kitchen. It held up for about a year, but one night around midnight the magnet gave out, and the tablet fell down and shattered. That was scary.

Since its at work, I'm thinking of having it power down at the end of the day or show something else to help the screen last longer, though I could replace the whole thing for $15 if it dies.v1 used a simple e-ink display and a frame and didn't show the time because it refreshed hourly. It's been on my wall for over 2 years and it still works.I was going to buy a cheap led screen for this but the old tablet fits inside the clock perfectly.
