China surpassed the west more than a decade ago. The death knell was when they started making functional high speed rail, and now they're the world leader in renewable energy. Science and engineering takes decades of investment, you need better nutrition for the kids, functional education systems, challenging colleges, and real investment into credible research. America has poisoned it's own food supply, completely defunded public education, turned their best colleges into daycare for the wealthy, and hasn't invested in anything that wasn't embezzlement for close to 30 years. The entire American economy is fraud at this point, and the whole thing is exclusively run by the retarded fail-sons of the ultra wealthy. China is literally sifting the entire billion person population for diamonds while America grinds it's known geniuses into slavery and anonymity for the obsession of its ruling class to steal anything of value that isn't bolted to the ground.
