Once you fix one issue another arises and you have to up the latency because of vsync on everything you use and it breaks many games and OBS doesn’t work right and it is just an absolute pain.If you use nvidia for gaming you need a more modern DE and Wayland it seems.X11 for gaming and streaming is just trash on nvidia.I'm not even a fanboy I am a noob I barely even know what x11 and wayland are I just know my nvidia card does not work with x11 and xfce.
>>108637730I've been using Xfce on lower spec boxes and Cinnamon on newer, more powerful rigs, since 2012. Both are fantastic, and whenever I try something else out, it just feels wrong. The only other DE I've used for more than a few weeks is LXQt, but it's always lacking nice touches that I've grown used to in the other two, and I return.
