I wrote a CoC to apply to all virtual online behaviors1. No doxing, threats, cyber stalking, defamation, unsolicited porn, or encouraging illegal behavior (except breaking age verification laws because that's based)2. Don't look to create divisive narratives or schisms in the community via trolling grifting or any other deviant strategy to get people fighting. Even if it is communities that have opposing goals, keep disagreement civil.3. Zero tolerance for racism, sexism, anti LGBTQ+ discrimination, anti neuro-diversity discrimination. This applies to every race, creed, gender identity/performance, sexual orientation, religious expression or, national group. Except nazis, fascist and right wing extremist because their ideology has nothing to contribute to humanity. This rule applies offsite, such as far right post on private social media of yours. It is also a violation to intentional misgender someone4. Rude disrespectful edgy toxic or aggressive behavior will also get your thrown out if it keeps reoccurring. This also includes anti social behavior such as constant desire for praise among peers.5. No doing anything malicious to the software you develop such as adding worms, viruses, rootkits, key loggers or any telemetry. Even if it is your own software in non connected repos. 6. No hacking any other developers accounts such as accessing Git permissions you are not authorized to access and pushes or other changes to repos unauthorized. This also applies to impersonating other developers7. Ultimately we can ban anyone for any reason because its our digital property. Though we pledge to act in good faith. Maybe not a formal stipend but by getting paid for having a seat on various FOSS boards as those are paid positions for corporate backed foundations.
