What exactly is YouTube's end-game?They keep fighting Ad-Blockers yet uBO, uBO Lite & Brave keep updating almost instantly when YouTube changes something.Things like NewPipe and ReVanced also keep popping up and are updated, not only that but FF + uBO & Brave work perfectly fine on Smarphones/Tablets as well.Even people who buy YouTube Premium continue using things like uBO and it still blocks all of their possible trackers and analytics, same with Sponsorblock skipping baked-in Advertisements. So like, what exactly is the point of all this fight? What are they trying to accomplish here? YouTube Premium still does not offer actual quality Bitrate, YouTube Premium still does not offer Lossless/FLAC on YT Music and YouTube Premium still does not auto-skip pre-baked Advertisements. And clearly them fighting Ad-Blockers is just bad reputation stacking up on top of their bad AI Moderation and AI Slop Promotion on the website while the UI just keeps degrading monthly, not to mention them shadow deleting old videos every day.
A cryptominer is embedded into the video player and can't be adblocked. They actually don't give a shit whether or not you use adblocker. Twitch/Amazon already showed us how it's absolutely possible for big tech to BTFO adblockers by injecting ads directly into the video stream. Do you think Alphabet Inc is not capable of doing the same if they wanted to?>tl;drThey don't care as long as you keep watching videos in your (Javascript-enabled) browser. Watch in the background, watch at 240p, watch in 4k, youtube premium or not, adblock or not. You're not going to beat the trillion dollar multination tech corporation in their own playing field.
>>108644719>Twitch/Amazon already showed us how it's absolutely possible for big tech to BTFO adblockers by injecting ads directly into the video stream.uBO and Tampermonkey were able to block those with a custom Filterlist/Script but the dude that maintained it said he got bored of Twitch slop so rip that ig, but ye it's possible to block these easily.
>>108644608YouTube = Google in case you forgot.Google's objective is to implement global digital ID. As such they are getting ready to make YouTube a signup-only service where you will need to provide your government ID to watch videos. The side effect of this will of course be that they can ban you for life if they see you using adblockers.
Nice try, jewgool niggerdev.
>>108644719What a load of nonsense.
They make these incremental changes so that they can measure the reaction of adblock users. We're essentially frogs in a pot of water saying that it's the perfect temperature for a bath right now.
>>108644608there's no end-game. it's all just MBAs optimizing for the next quarterly report to get their bonuses.
If you want to go ad-free, take any YouTube link and add a dash between the t and the u.Example: yout-ube.com
>>108644719>Twitch/AmazonYou have to be an actual retard to see ads on twitch
>>108644719I believe this, especially with the Feds being more openly pro cyrpto. Google is Alphabet after all, literally.
>>108644608>What exactly is YouTube's end-game?Crashing this generation...
>>108646910Don't be ridiculous. They manage that on their own just fine even without outside help.
>>108644608>What exactly is YouTube's end-game?>They keep fighting Ad-Blockers yet uBO, uBO Lite & Brave keep updating almost instantly when YouTube changes something. At this point I think the devs are just having fun playing cat and mouse.
>>108644608Alphabet's entire game is to pay excessive amounts of play money to keep technically-smart "people" (goyim) doing useless things like selling advertising and creating "products" that they repeatedly cancel, or if that's not possible, continuously enshittify. Wouldn't want anyone actually accidentally contributing towards making the world a better place in any way.The system is not what it says it does, the system is what it actually does.
Why is it so slow to start a video this year? Starting up a video and loading random timeline parts are too slow nowadays.
>>108647361This started happening to me and I suspect it is because the loading random parts triggers an ad opportunity.
>>108647361Engineers have forgotten the fear of pain.
>>108644719>A cryptominer is embedded into the video playermeds
>>108644608To maximize profits, the people implementing this shit do not care, they just do whatever their indian CEO tells them to do, he does not care, he just wants to make himself look better for the 5 minutes he'll be in charge of the company before he tanks it. At some point you have to realize you're no longer dealing with people, you're dealing with a runaway system that cannot change course until it starts to fail.
>>108644608You don't realize how retarded most normies are; the majority are still watching 2-3 ads before a video, and then fight popup ads and side ads just to click the small 'X' button to watch the video just for it to be fake and they get redirected to a scam website saying they won $100 on their local supermarket. Adblocker's users are less than 5% on a global scale. It's genuinely humiliating to use a normie's phone/computer to do anything. I had to install brave on my mother's phone so she can watch her slop without being abused by scam and porn ads, other normiefags I tried to help install UBO will just refuse, they think it will brake their browser because they had a bad experience with blockadsfrfr++ once in 2013.Tbqh if you can rape those retards with ads and they will just accept it, go do it and make some bucks.
>>108647556I see it around me. Normie inlaws and family members just tolerating ads and even sometimes remarking "oh that looks cool/handy". Absolutely disgusting
>>108644608>What exactly is YouTube's end-game?they want you to watch ads so they continue getting money but dont want to go through the effort of making sure the ads elsagate 2.0 tier at best and straight up malicious links to sketchy sites at worst.
How many pipes do y'all have installed? Everyday one of them breaks and one starts working again
>>108647603forgot obligatory example. not mine but the "Build your own AI slut" bullshit has been some of the most frequent ones on mobile for me
>>108644719>A cryptominer is embedded into the video player and can't be adblocked. >freetube and yt-dlp don't use the video playeroh dear oh dear
>>108647556It's really weird how ads have taken over, we did have them before.. But now days legit companies are practically serving adware. From YT to news sites, have gotten difficult to browse without ad blockers. Buy a new phone and probably get auto "personalization id", download app there is a large chance it has ads
>>108644608they do? not very effective, are they?

People cry about ads on YouTube but I watched Chinatown a couple of three days ago using the YouTube app on my tablet and it said "free with ads" but I didn't get a single ad throughout the film. I think the secret here is to become unadable. The algorithm has decided that there's nothing I'm interested in buying so I don't get ads anymore.
