This fucking JavaScript Chromium webapp bullshit, which probably sends all your notes to the Chinese Communist Party, doesn't even let you drag nodes together with a mouse to link them. You have to type some bullshit to group things together, which defeats the point of having a fucking node-based graphical program in the first place. Imagine if you had to do that shit on fucking Resolve. I just take notes in Kwrite because at least it doesn't use 1GB of RAM to display fucking text.
Heh was just testing it out myself along with Joplin. Both literally trashed before I saw this post. Keeping things in markdown is nice, but I know of only one note taking program that's good. Pun intended.
OneNote was perfect. MS fucked it up like MS always does, plus good luck ever getting your shit out of OneNote. But as long as you stayed in the ecosystem, it was great - the only missing feature was lack of markdown blocks
>>108650110works on my machine
>>108650110people run LittleSnitchif the program copied your notes to the MSS’s servers people would have noticed by nowalso if you’re not using LLMs to help you with your Obsidian stuff you’re missing out
>>108650110It needs internet to export to PDF.
>>108650110i think there's a plugin to drag notes to link them, if not, you can always vibe code it since it's javascript.
>>108650110digital note taking is meme for IT fags who have been trained by corporations to be as productive as possible to make as much profit for them as possible
>>108650110like yeah i agree with you but are you seriously going to use shit like cherrytree? actually fuck it i'm forking cherrytree right now I remember like a year ago I tried (and failed) at making an IBM i2 Analyst Notebook clone, lol.
The graph is and will always be a gimmick that's completely irrelevant to anything you might use the program for.
>>108650173All of the original OneNote devs left the company long ago. It's a zombie product now, being minimally maintained by a bunch of jeets who can't comprehend most of the code written by the long departed original coders. It's a real shame but apparently enshitification is quite profitable.
>>108651342lets see your repos then
>>108651342Making more things up today are we anon? Are you going to crash out again when you get called out for it?
