You aren't wrong. I fucking hate working with legacy code. I really do hate it, but it's sometimes there is an appliance that is so good that suffering through the refactoring really is worth it.I started out on my passion project with 30,000 PHPstan error to baseline (level 10), so I set to level zero, generated a baseline, fixed everything in baseline.Now I'm at level 8 with 1,400 in the baseline, and I plan on unironically taking it to level 10. After that, I'll continue splitting the monolith into microservices. I ended up abandoning Kuberneetes for rootless podman, which can generate k8s pods anyway.
