People enjoy the Neo because for the price, it's the best physical device. Autists overlook this and only look at statistics and numbers which in the end don't actually matter for 99% of people. What they can't conceptualize is that this is a device people physical handle and carry around every day. It matters that this thing has superior physical design, superior keyboard, has a superior track pad, has superior physical like a tank durability. This is the actual longevity that people care about. Whether it renders a 4k video in 2:30 or 6:42 doesn't really matter. These things are meant to replace chromebooks, which they utterly blow out of the water.Name a better build quality (keyboard, trackpad, body, durability) for $599, or $499 for students.

It's a simple laptop that can throttle but it isn't noisy, it's lightweight and it gets basic shit done.For simple tasks it's better than say, a chromebook mainly because the OS allows to do a lot of stupid little bullshit things from 20 years back. And because there's like 70 billion little applications for it (a lot of them paid, unfortunately, which is why the whole idea of "macfaggotry for the cheap" seems nonsensical to me, once you buy this thing, you're going to pay subscriptions for fucking taskbars). You can do file tagging. You can do automatic shit on folders. You can put fucking chatgpt on your damn file manager if you please. The point is it lets a normalfag that's not willing to install a linux distro on a bulkier shit still do a lot more despite having a measly 8gb of RAM and a fucking phone chip.
