Wayland is good these days fractional scaling, VRR, HDR, Proton 11, Multimonitor mixed refresh rates. All just werks on KDE, which is obviously the future of linux. Even valve knows this that's why they chose it.And in my own testing with gaming, bazzite is the smoothest. Poorest performance was linux mint. Cinnamon frametimes on x11 were so bad it was near unplayable with how much it stuttered on all AMD.As for people who use x11 for work, they can always use a server OS like debian
