With the way things are going, what do you think the internet and computing will be like in the 2030s?
>>108662989Full of browns and profligate women
>>108662989did you make this picture yourself OP
>>108663002I made the first 3 laptops in another picture, someone added the rest.
>>108662989We'll probably have to go back to primitive CPUs during the nuclear winter
It will depend on whether AI succeeds or flops in the late 2020s.
>>108662989>.jpgLaptop design peaked in 2018, when i bought my final one.I would like to upgrade, but there is nothing i can find to top it>DVD R/W drive>Ethernet port>1080p display>x3 usbA ports>HDMI>Fullsize SD card reader>Headphone jackonly 128gb ssd tho, and 8gb ram, but shit the thing was only fucking $400 canadian, at launch, from bestbuy.I have not seen any new laptops with dvd drives since then, and that alone is a dealbreaker.
>>108663136Yeah just buy a USB DVD drive, and a USB SD card reader. When do you even use the DVD drive when on the go lol.
>>108662989humans will be gone by then
>>108663136I hate these paper thin laptops. I still own 4 pre 2010 laptops, 2 of them still have serial ports, modem, pcmcia slots, and 1 has a parallel port.
>>108663136Fujitsu FMV Note A is what you need
>>108663155>just buy a USB DVD driveI did, for my home computer, because for some reason those things dont have dvd drives anymore either. It crapped out after only a couple years, while somehow my laptop one still works like new.> and a USB SD card reader.I dont want my laptop to turn into an octopus>When do you even use the DVD drive when on the go lol.Watching DVD's while camping.Though yes i am aware i should just rip them to an SD card or thumb drive because that would use less battery power..Optical discs are also my prefered method of backing up data, (10+x more stable longterm, than magnetic or electron storage) so i can get alot of use out of the drive.>>108663181Eh, its not really paper thin (it does have a dvd drive, afterall) but i get what your saying.
>>108663214>Blu-ray driveAh fuck me, now there is an upgrade.Ty, anon. now i just have to find one..
>>108662989It will be just like 2013
>>108662989I hate thinner laptops with a passion
>>108662989>1366x768Let me guess, you need more?

>>108662989Ethnic verification will be implemented at the OS level. For your computer to boot, you will need to submit to a facial scan, and if it detects that you are white; the ugliest, fat, shit complexion ai generated negress face will appear on your screen, and demand that you kneel, acknowledge and apologize, before proceeding. If you say somthing rude to her, you bank accounts will be frozen and a wellness check will be performed.
it will just be non stop logging into websites with your global digital ID
>>108662989that 2050 looks soul
Forcing changes in form factor for its own sake doesn't work unless you're Apple. It's been tried many times (pic related, from the forgotten netbook craze of the early 10s).A new technology has to exist to make new form factors both cheaper and more marketable than old ones. Otherwise they're just meme products that get forgotten. The only exception, again, is Apple laptops, since they pander to people who want to pay more to feel different.

>>108662989Full deanonymized internet. You have to use an ID to use your PC to connect to the internet at all. No VPNs allowed (all will be blocked at the IP level).Even if you get on the internet, it won't matter because 99.99% of content will made by LLM bots trying to influence other bots into absorbing their context and using it to do things with services or products.
>>108663842>Full deanonymized internet.good, just remember to gatekeep normies from i2p
>>108663951I feel like i2p's biggest issue is there's just barely anything on it. Lots of dead sites. At least stuff like Gemini has stuff on it that I find cool (though I recognize that's just an application layer versus network layer like i2p).
>>108663592don't forget the slow infinite spinning animation, error popups and random alzheimer forced relogin
>>108663972for me personally, i wont use ID anywhere, so at least i will be there and i guess making forums and whateverand i bet there is more like me who will get pushed off the normienet.
>>108663731I fucking love how mini-laptops with no-trackpad and decent sized keys, look. makes my dick so fucking hard. Also, what killed the netbook was just corporate jewery;Microsoft forced a 1gb hardcap for ram on netbooks. To avoid having them compete with more expensive laptops and more expensive full windows licences. This made them all slow as fuck; the social programming worked; everyone began to hate them.Anyone i knew who had one, loved the form factor, they just hated the performance.
>>108662989
>>108662989I actually used a 1366x768 laptop until like 2022.
>>108664012Can't anyone make a tiny laptop with as high specs as it can fit? Or was there a special nerfed version of windows 7 for these?
>>108664592>Or was there a special nerfed versionYes.There was a special lightweight version of windows intended for netbooks, for which the license only cost like $20 or $25? Compared to over $100 for full windows.I believe if a manufacturer really wanted to, they could make a gucci book in the same form factor for a premium, but geenrally these devices targeted the budget end, of around $300, so sticking a >$100 OS in it didnt make sense.Micrsoft made it so the netbook version of windows would not support over 1gb of ram.(if my memory serves)
>>108664671adding:When netbooks first hit the market, they were readily available with 2gb of ram, but micro jew said NAH to that.
considering the movment of the corpo entities and trends, in a decade the best you will hope to buy is a 2ghz dual core processor and 1 gig of ram with a 8ghz cache drive that does nothing but act as a thin client for googlzon cloud services.
>>108663360Not for you, gaijin
>>108662989small storage weak processor small screen xecice for subscribing and recievig streamed renders of games, ai and media, sold on a monthly bill contract like a phone
>>108665708I did find one for sale new on ebay.Only a mere $3600cad ($2600us) lmao.I dont think i want a blu ray player quiet that bad.I cannot imagine paying over 2k for a laptop, any laptop, but especially a mid-specced one.
>>108663812I didn't I just forgot to remove the name from a different post>I liked his drawing>laptop is when compooter in brainare you sure (You)'re not the nigger here?
>>108663842>Full deanonymized internetHonestly, Indians are making me want this.
>>108667813wouldn't cutting india off from the rest of the world work better
Whoever decided that laptops didn't need an ethernet port needs to be euthanized.
