I am wanting to upgrade, specfically for messing around with local LLM/AI shit and also getting tired of having to run non-max settings in vidya for good framerates at 1440p (target 120/144hz)

AMD video cards seem to have been cucked hard by all the AI stuff, so I'm most likely needing to sell a kidney to pick up an nvidia card with a usable amount of vram (16gb? 24gb?), but not sure if I should look at an overall system refresh at the same time

Need some advice, this is my current setup. The PSU is EVGA B3 650 since it doesn't even show up as an option.
Friend told me to upgrade the CPU, but for that I think I need to change the motherboard too so I kinda want to change the case too for a prettier one.
So yeah, main things are the CPU, motherboard and case, but I guess if there's something any of you think I should upgrade too, I can.

I am getting a lot of random bluescreens recently, friend looked at my setup and told me that maybe it was an issue with the CPU or motherboard since they are the "oldest" ones and may be failing, gpu and ram are fairly new.

Update on guy guy who fried his gpu:

The display port and the first dp slot in my gpu got fried. I found out when my new 5070 Ti didn't work with my current DP cable. I used a new DP port and suddenly it works. So I put my 4070 TI back in. Since my gpu has three dp slots, I put it into DP 2. It works.

So the cable got fried and DP port 1 on my 4070 TI.

Going to take the 5070 TI back. $1K saved.

Got the new motherboard, booting and video output is fine, boots fine, RAM problem is reproducible across both motherboards, sent off an A-RMA from Corsair, should get the new kit in a day or two.

As for the Strix-A board, I don't want to call it a piece of shit, but it definitely feels lower quality for whatever it's worth, but it clearly works better than the MSI Tomahawk by virtue it actually has a consistent video display output on boot, I am scared to death of scratching up my GPU backplate on it though, entire mechanism for the RAM and PCIE especially feels cheap, it shouldn't be the price it is let alone £40 more expensive than the Tomahawk, the I/O makes up for it at least.

Not been bothered to do a test run of the other CPU as there's no reason to believe so far that there is an issue, once the A-RMA RAM arrives I'll double check the performance but I'm sure that's the only part that's fine.

Games have been stuck in arrested development because of computational complexity for both multithreaded workloads and scripting problems. The only place for developers to move into was graphics, and its been that way for a long time.

Games like Minecraft and fortnite showed developers that moving away from processing power and focusing on a low barrier for entry on the graphics department is the best move. You can't forget that a game like cyberpunk was developed for the xbox one s and that shit has ray reconstruction as an option now.

All these games are significantly limited because developers want them to run on a potato and it doesn't hurt that it's easier to develop a game that runs on some ancient 4core processor and then just tack on whatever the user can handle graphically.

DSC is supposed to be lossless but it is actually lossy just on the level that is unnoticeable to most. However seems to be compression on a variable scale rather than a fixed amount, so how much compression exactly does it have to be before the final image starts being noticeably degraded? when the compression ratio is less than 50% it goes from lossless to lossy. for 1440p @ dp 1.4 this starts at 300hz. it wont look bad immediately but the more hz you go it will start becoming noticeably bad. the latency impact from dsc is probably more noticeable but that varies on gpu implementation. nvidia used to have issues with dsc for example.
