How is mint better than this?
>>
>>108678736
When i tried both on older hardware some intel 6th gen celeron dualcore with 4gb ram, Mint was blazing fast.. and the Zorin was sluggish

>how is mint better than scam artist jew slop
>>
>>108678736
Check your RAM and GPU when running this Slop_OS on idle.
>>
>>108678736
it isn't but the morons actually recommending Linux distros are old folks who like 15y/o looking desktops
>>
>>108678736
no shitnome
>>
>Linux that looks like soulless modern Windows
Literally 0 point of this shit
>>

It works and you can change your DE easily (there's a button)
Goodbye.
>>
>>108681587
it's gnome. pressing the button doesn't change the DE, it changes how gnome is configured/presented.
I'd rather not use an OS which thinks so low of their users to assume that they would be incapable of using their computer unless everything is moved around to be in the same place where it would be in Windows 7. it's primary disgusting factor is how it mimics other established operating systems.
I really don't know of one single person who would struggle with a KDE Plasma or Cinnamon desktop specifically, but would have been able to navigate Windows, macOS, or Zorin OS.
It presents itself as for "new users" but is really for imaginary users, and doesn't suit the needs of anyone.
>>
>>108678736
Pro tip: it's not.
Not that Zorin is particularly any good.
>>
>>108683887
>>108678736
Protipenis, Zorin is jank. Mint and even MX make it look like clown show.
>>
>>108678736
I tried it and it mimics the windows desktop quite well, but still has that gnome stained on it. I came straight back into tuxedo os in a week.

>what is Linux laptop support
>>
>>108683928
Nearly every distro has this. Hell, even Slackware runs great on the gamefag laptops my CAD slaves use. Zorin is just the latest iteration of infinite "user-friendly" frankendebians. Nothing remarkable about it, except that it's monetized bloatware brought to you
two zillennial jizrags.
>>

>Nearly every distro has this
Mint doesn't. I don't think you realise how many laptops run like trash on X11.
>Zorin
I have never used it. But it defaults to Wayland which is already infinitely better than anything Mint could possibly come up with besides actual Wayland support - which is apparently coming in the next release!

X11 has been running on systems fine since the 1980s. I your laptop struggles with it, that's a problem with your laptop. Linux Mint generally takes longer to adopt newer software and standards, nonetheless.
>>
>>108678736
It has a Debian-based version, comes with the Mint tools, comes with Cinnamon, has lower system requirements and less jank.
>>
>>108686900
>debian
Useless woke garbage run by canonical
>miny tools
Literally who?
>cinnamon
Stuck on gtk3, uses more memory than gnome now
>>
ZorinOS phones home to Israeli servers more often than windows 11
>>
Well, ive used mint for YEARS, like literally 10 whole fucking years. And its been great to me.
>Nu rando loonux jewstro pops up, "everyone" says its amazing and whatever the fuck
I dont care?
