Everything is already from China, but here we discuss the cheap chink shit you see on various sites.

Wdym? I had a microswitch like that and he was selling it too, but there was already a conflict on the image and the item description, just some average chinking.

I can still use, the problem is that there is not enough energy to keep it from oxidizing.

I wanted to give an update from the telescope i bought some months ago but the tripod already needs maintence, worse than i thought it would be. When i fix it i'll give an update.

This year is exhausting, first I had to hurry and curate the systems I had left with Myrient closing down. And now I have to order all the chinkstuff i could possible need and think of in the next two weeks so it lasts me at least a couple of years because of the corrupted cleptocracy of the EU.

Ive seen lots of stuff from uni, pentel, kurutoga, pilot, pigma, micron. Lots of that shit is in choice section, after while aliexpress recomendation will adjust and it will start recomend lots of that stuff mixed with chinks no name brands. Thats just writing/drawing supplies. I didnt look for more exotic stuff from tiktok stationary. Ive seen even limited edition zento signature.
Cant guarantee that there isnt any fakes, apart from kuru toga dive everything i bought was cheap 2-3usd so i doubt even chink could compete with fakes at that price with that quality, japan is like china but for stationary.

Normal person doesnt need anything more than few pens, uni zentos i bought are really nice. Most of that stuff its just meme or if you into drawing with pencils or ink japanese stuff is hard to beat.

Be sure to check your local retailers, prices goes up and down, chinks are trying to squeeze more money than they should. For example pilot pens are cheap where i live but stuff from uni and kurutoga is rare so prices have big margins on top of it, most of it is just dropshiping from japan. Even pentel stuff, looks like chinks have bigger choice of their brushpens and mechanical pencils than my local amazon

Stationary tiktok/yt shorts are one big advertisement but u can learn about their brands and what their offer
And remember, if u arent student, into drawing ect. all u need is pen for notes, if u buy lots of sutff it will land inside drawer faster than u think
>>
>>108687517
>kuru toga dive still my fav from it
Is it any good? I thought it is only for asian languages and anything European requires the "advance" version with double rotation speed.
Also why do you need so much of that shit? You are a student or smth?
>>
>>108688276
I've used it just for work stuff so just capital letters and numbers, works, rotation works great. For normal writing, don't know, might be as u say.
Pens went to family, one stayed with me, acrylic marker was used for fixing scratches on white furniture, rest is just things for drawing, have full box of that shit, just fun stuff to play with, especially in today's "ai" age I'm tend to steer away from digital drawing to paper

Gabe controller will be more expensive, around 100usd or more with EU VAT but im really tempted because of trackpads and buttons that works with steamos/bazzite gaming mode, with my vader i have to use touchscreen or legion go controllers to do that.

If u dont need that flydigi vader 5pro or new apex are probably one of best controllers on the market

i dont have it. Dive is really comfortable in hand, zentos too. Fineliners are like fineliners, nothing special in hand, they are smoother than Pigma Micron but they are thinner so less comfortable in my hand, last pack of pigma micron i bought had problems with dried up ink.
Gold standard for me is pentel graphgear 1000, but i have larger hands and like more weight and good grips.
Kurutogas due to that rotation gimmick have soft feel and nib play. For writing they are fine (and i think longer sesion for example in school could be less tiring), but for drawing i have that feeling of not being as accurate as with graphgear 1000, nib there have tight tolerances without any flex at all.

For example trying to draw quick straight line, graphgear 1000 no problem, kuru togas have slight curve at the beginning of it due to mechanism play. If you doing fine details that play can fuck ur drawing

Why not? I got a khaen as a gift by a relative and it was a kids version. Lacked like half the tones needed to get to the right harmonics I wanted. Still fun though in its own way. Though I will eventually get a full size one probably.
Wish there was a reasonably priced hurdy gurdy on ali, I'd love to own one of those as well.

Not that anon, but that looks cool, is it hard to learn?
>>
>>108694577
Not particularly, compared to most wind instruments it's fairly easy as there's little technique for the actual blowing required (that is unless you want to learn circular breathing for it, but compared to almost all other wind instruments it's still fairly easy).
The main issue/complexity from it is that it's too rare for you to find ready-made notes other than that one tiktok song, so I'd wager you'll not have too much fun unless you understand at least the basics of music theory to play by yourself.
A second issue is that while it can be a center stage melody instrument, I find it's more suited as a background instrument, so without a looper setup or something it probably gets old faster than other instruments.
Just make sure that if you look online and it's suspiciously cheap, it's probably a kids version. You won't get those nice harmonics from it that you find in the full size instruments.
>>
>>108691591
I have the 4 and like it a lot, the big complaint I have is the microswitch dpad is fine for games that use it as additional buttons but feels super cursed to use as an actual control method.
>>
>>108694601
I see, thanks anon. I was looking for a wind instrument in general to learn, but something like a saxophone is pretty expensive to randomly start.
>>
>>108694769
I'll be honest anon if you want to actually learn it, and not just have it as a bit of a curiosity, I'd probably advise against a khaen as a starter instrument. It's too niche and frankly it's fun as a side instrument (I mostly play guitar and some piano) but I wouldn't recommend it as your first real one (or main instrument).
You're right that most wind instruments are (insanely) expensive, but look into rentals. Not sure if all countries have them, but renting a decent one for a few months probably won't break the bank and you can see if you actually enjoy it before paying that much money.
My father did that after I told him he should pick up an instrument in retirement (he picked saxophone) and it allowed him to decide of getting his own was worth it.
Also obviously look at the used market. Plenty of kids who got one by their parents but never seriously played sell theirs as they move out, so you can get pretty good ones for cheap that require just a little maintenance to get them back in top order.

>>108694793
Huh, I didn't consider renting one, might have to look into that. I did actually play piano for a bit, with teacher and everything, but I didn't really stick, probably because, while it sounds very nice I've never really been interested in the music made on a piano. Saxophones on the other hand sound tight as fuck in my opinion.
>>
>>108694995
>might have to look into that
You usually pay a fairly reasonable fee as well as a deposit. You get that deposit back once you hand the instrument back in assuming you didn't damage it.
>I did actually play piano for a bit, with teacher and everything, but I didn't really stick, probably because, while it sounds very nice I've never really been interested in the music made on a piano
It's a great instrument to learn music theory because you visually see the common western tones as each key. That being said a lot of music teachers are not very good at teaching. I was the same and I learned very little from my piano time. Same with guitar, I mostly brute forced a few songs. Then I tried a video course (absolutely understand guitar) that the guys over at >>>/mu/gg/ (the guitar general) linked in their op (current one seems fucked, but usually it's there) and it opened my eyes to music theory and actually understanding my instrument rather than just learning individual songs.
Having an instrument you actually enjoy the sound of certainly helps a lot.
Just if you do end up getting a teacher, this time around it's YOUR money and you're not a kid anymore so be picky about getting a good teacher. Otherwise it's just wasted time.
And good luck, my father basically self-taught himself saxophone from nothing after I told him to pick an instrument up and while he may not be professional level, he's surprisingly good now.

Last point, I hope you don't have neighbors who complain easily about sound, because playing a saxophone without it dominating the room is really hard. Then again that's part of what makes it such a sexy instrument to begin with.

Whats the best / easiest way to sharpen kitchen knives? And does anyone have some ali recommendation? Those pull through sharpeners apparently fuck up your knives.
>>
>>108695822
they do, but if you dont have anything expensive dont bother with anything else. they are cheap and gets job done. If you have knives that are too nice for that you should get diamond plate like sharpal 162n and leather strop. You can try cheaper stuff from aliexpress like stones or sharpening system (ruixin something) but i didnt have luck with them, too anoying and cumbersome to use, u had to soak that shit, assemble it, dissasemble it, they shed some kind of gunk or mud.
So if u have cheap knives stay with pull through, if u have nice knives buy diamond plates and learn free hand sharpening just by trying it few times on cheapest and most fucked knife u have
For kitchen knives i recomend 8inch diamond plates, there is smaller stuff but its more towards pocket knives. chinks on ali have smaller plates with honeycomb pattern that are good but they are pain to use, u have to glue it to something heavy before use

>The diamond stone looks good
Only if you've got ceramic knives. They're also incredibly easy to fuck up on the manufacturer's side (Diamonds fully embedded intot he metal with no cutting edge present/diamonds fall off). Even the name brands have issues with this. Just go with a standard ceramic stone. For kitchen knives I've had the same 1000/6000 king stone for nearly a decade now. You'll also want a strop, anything with a leather top will do.
>>
>>108696343
I think for traditional stone plates u have to soak it before and sprawy water during sharpening. But it looks like meta for japanese made stuff.
Diamond plates don't require any soaking, it can be used dry without any lubricant. And diamond stones are really go to if you have exotic super steels heat-treated to high HRC hardness. I've used diamond plates (sharpal I've mentioned post before) with cheapest noname stainless stuff possible and with super steels like cpm m4 and m390 and it's cuts them with ease.
Check sharpening tutorials on yt, I've watched neeves knives and outdoor something tutorials, they will teach you how to hold an angle, how much pressureand everything else. As I said, I have that sharpal diamond plates, it comes with box that works as a stand for plate during sharpening, one side have rougher grit, other have finishing grit ,I also bought leather strop with polishing paste on Ali and it's more than enough.

Damn. I need a new plate for my small Milwaukee sander and those fuckers don’t really sell those, even though it is a normal wear piece that should be available at every place that sells the tool.
Chang to the rescue?
Not really. Shit’s about the same price as locally (there’s a few places that list it, though it’s sold out) but I now have the additional hassle of wondering if the thing might be from the OEMs night shift, or if it’s some random 3D printed crap someone made from looking at a pic of the original
>please allow 1-5 cm error due to manual measurements
Tempest to just order it from Burgerland, but Amazon US also doesn’t list it.

>decent chink trackers
I have cheapest ones and they work good. Only bad thing is google network is not as good as apple one but that's not fault of chink hardware but jeets at google making stupid jeet decisions.
Also kinda ironic that google tags are double the price of apple ones because jewgle certification is more expensive.

please dont buy pull through sharpeners - they indeed fuck up your knife and dont sharpen the knives very well
i use expensive diamond stones (atoma) and leather strop
i would not recommend cheap chinesse diamond stones - they usually dont last
cheapest i would go is SHARPAL 325/1000 double sided stone
for more sharpening autism see outdoors55 on youtube

I never understood the point of the leather piece
>>
>>108700563
It helps with removing metal wire that forms at the apex during sharpening. Without removing it knife will be sharp but not as sharp as it should be
If u using super steels stroping it from time to time with bit of polishing paste will maintain working edges for ridiculous amount of time. My spyderco with cpm m4 wasn't sharpened for almost 2 years, have visible chips in apex, yet due to stroping its still super sharp, easly cuts paper apprat from snaging on chipped parts
I think hooning rods have simillar purpose

leather polishes edges. me grandpappy used to use a belt and i may still have it in the shed along with the rest of his stuff

polishing and maintenance
if you strop your knife a little bit on leather strop before every use it will stay sharp for a very long time

every time i participate in the reddit box exchange for aliexpress i'm reminded as to why we have gatekeeping and vetting for shit like private trackers and communities
people straight up have no fucking decency. europeans especially are completely moralless chopped cunts. thirdies like peruvians will not only click your link back straight away, but they'll find you the next day and do it automatically but for yuropoors you have to poke and prod them to remind them about it. what the fuck.

Reminder to all eutards that you should order everything you need for the foreseeable future this week (or next week at the latest if you're feeling dangerous and homosexual) to mitigate any unforeseen transit delays.

If you live in any of the extra tarded eu countries you just know it will be like the last time they tried to stifle Chang a couple of years back with a special postal service extra fee of around 7-10 euro per package on top of the eutardtax.

Dog bless the middlemen and their lobbyists. And thanks to women as well for ordering trash 24/7 on Wish.

>order 6 items from same store
>they get sent in 3 packages
>status for package 1 contents has 1 item
>status for package 2 contents has 2 items
>status for package 3 contents has 1 item
>package 3 gets returned and fails to deliver
>receive package 1 + 2
>package 1 has the listed item + the items ali said was in package 2
>package 2 has one of the two items not listed in a package
>package 3 has unknown contents (failed to ship)

so I am missing 2 items
the contents in package 3 should be an open and shut dispute
but wtf do I do with the missing item not listed in contents?

it is going to be a huge language barrier dispute having to explain that the seller/ali messed up the contents listing and what was in what package
I guess I can take a picture of a scale with the weight of the contents of each package but I fail to see how this is great proof

I am not dishonest so I said I received one or the two items that did not appear in the contents list (which I did receive)
but what about the one unlisted item I did not receive
the second package was kind of roomy as well so if the seller wants to be scummy they can claim the item was inside the package

I took a photo of the boxes and the items after I took them out of the boxes but the wrapping makes it ambiguous

In literally every post here, people always detail what they're buying or attach an image. The fact that you haven't and keep referring to them as items means that they're probably horse-dildos or other sex toys. Chalk it up as a sign. Reform your life and stop gooning.

what ive seen online, if u have big library its better to go with something with big screen and better os, like hiby r1 and preferably with android (hiby m300 or fiio jm21) if u have money. But for casual listen its ok. It dont have gapless playback so keep that in mind if u like that kind of albums
