fuck no
Correct.

Crystal is also nice. Bare requirements for a font:>slashed 0>1Il distinctionIf there are fixed and variable width versions, even better.
Are there any fonts that look like terminus that do Japanese text in that same style?
>>108690932prolly GNU Unifont
>>108690402>jeetbrains
>>108690932I'll spoon-feed you this short list but if you want more you have to look on your ownhttps://qiita.com/udoP_/items/286dc6c8ea6ff7845b28
>>108690968>>108691355Thank you.
Hack is goated
>>108689898I don't disagree but i also only use this font on one computer. Iosevka looks right to my eyes.
For non terminal fonts (not monospaced) my go to is Nokia Sans, it's the font Nokia used for their phones, and still makes for a great UI font
the undisputed champion
For me, it's spleen. You may have seen it while booting OpenBSD.
>>108689898Yep, UI font threadMy favorite is uw-ttyp0, especially the bold variant. It just has so much character. The serifs are reminiscent of that one Sun serif font (?), or the X.org "courier" font. Aside from that, I like the rounded M+ variants like Mgen+, again because they have so much character.I also know there's some other comic/rounded fonts. Anyone care to mention them? I forget the names.>>108692096Thanks a lot for this! I never thought of using it, great idea.
>>108692266what font is this?

>gee, Cozette looks like a fun font>can't wait to install this on Windows>winshit doesn't support bitmap fonts>the GitHub page refers to the Arch Linux installation guide under the Windows header
>>108695655>pixel fontsSure anon, because we are in 80s.
>>108689898A nice font without curves would be ideal, unfortunately Nippo Complete (pic) is not monospace. I figured out that curves are a luxury and at small (or regular) scale you can actually distinguish if a glyph has curves or not.
this font outshines all the others
>>108692266I like SF Mono but it's too similar to IBM mono, plus what >>108695255 said. If your monitor's ppi is >200 it's going to look fuzzy. Menlo is a better choice.

Mandatory downloads for all (You) retrofags out therehttps://int10h.org/oldschool-pc-fonts/fontlist/https://int10h.org/blog/2015/12/bigblue-terminal-oldschool-fixed-width-font/https://int10h.org/blog/2018/05/flexi-ibm-vga-scalable-truetype-font/I'd use them for my terminal if not for the fact they don't work as well on 27" 1440p pixel density. I just use Iosevka now because Unicode support+better density.
>>108689898Incorrect, Rob Pike really outdid himself with the Plan 9 aesthetic of Go.Normies wouldn't get it.

I found a really cool font the other day. I've never seen it before. It's everything I ever wanted in a font.
Inconsolata is king.
>>108689898I like Pragmata Pro. It's legible and aesthetically pleasing while allowing more characters to fit in my 1366x768 screen.
>>108689898Go and find pirated version of Berkeley Mono. I didn't buy and share it on pirate telegrams just for nobody to use it
>>108689898I like(d) it but it’s available only in one weightI use SF Mono now in Terminal.app and I think it’s betterMonoLisa for code normally, and Berkeley Mono in GNOME Terminal
>>108699335Out of the fonts on that list, my favorite are:MapleVictor MonoRecursiveI like when the italic version of the font looks cursive. It's like getting two fonts in one.
>>108699747>Berkeley MonoI'm giving this free alternative a try.https://github.com/ahatem/IoskeleyMono
>>108699729If you care about fitting as many characters on a screen as possible, Spleen >>108692300 boasts the smallest font size that is still legible. I think they go as low as 5x8.
