He is from what I can tell, a solo dev. his game made bank despite being a serious sam clone because he appeals to the scat fetish crowd. he is currently making a sequel to eliminator keade which i'm more hyped about than GTA 6.If you want to make money as a dev, do smut games and sell them on Itch.IO or DLsite or steam if you're daring. making regular run of the mill indie games won't cut it.

Did the gamedev CS masters and decided a gamedev job was not something I wanted to pursue based on what I saw and heard.Now I do "regular" corporate software engineering and it's pretty comfy to not have to bend over backwards, get paid a nornal living wage, and leave work at work after 5-6PM
