Grok was pretty decent, unlike the other AIs, grok had some leeway in what it would tolerate. Its threshold for refusal was pretty high. It was great to entertain my absurd hypotheticals, which other AI would reject as being unethical, or straight up give the "sorry I can't help you with that".

It's luck of the pot, there is sometimes a chance that the content filter will bork and will produce deepfakes with titties, ass and dicks out and everything. Used to do it more often couple months ago.

But I don't get people freaking out about deepfakes. Everyone and their mother can produce any kind of convincing fake shit these days. And if someone blackmails you with a deepfake to your own folks or in public just state it's a deepfake. Unless you have shown your own coochie, no one will believe the deepfake.
>>
>>108693057
I still don't like how there isn't any way to know how much credit you have left in Grok and Gemini. When I mostly need it always seems to run out and have to wait.

There are more llm's than grok for this and doesn't grok require an account with email + phone number to use? Even with that you can only ask it like 5-10 questions a day. Not that great of privacy protections. Although maybe its changed, haven't used it for a while now.

Grok had pretty low limits, but to be fair, it really tries very hard to make good answers. I like the way it will do research, it actually looks up loads of information rather than just hallucinating the first thing it thinks of.

i think you have to either be a gooner and/or profoundly mindbroken to pay for grok

Yeah seedance 2.0 is incredible. I didn't know they let you do porn. I'd like to use it but don't know any good way to, as I'm not Chinese.

This looks good enough though, for fixed camera. Your clip has cinematography w/ multiple angles.
This is a Unreal Engine character so she intentionally still has the simple lighting and skin detail. Because turning characters into turbo real cosplayers is lame; they should look like they are canonically.

And the results can be impressive, it helped me add a new c++ language feature to clang. Something that I can't even imagine how much pain it would have been to do without help.

I have been working on a fork of c++, adding all kinds of cursed features. The latest feature I added is optional chaining syntax. "?->" this compiles to
ptr ? ptr->member : (decltype(ptr->member){})

If the EU were cool it would be handling international megaprojects for the European countries and public. Imagine Mistral was an unified project by all European countries with their countless universities and software companies, open source and entirely funded by taxes.

Unfortunately all euros are complacent laurel-resters. Only the French do stuff nowadays, for which they are eternally hated by their lazy neighbours
>>

how so? is this one better than Grok or is still heavily moderated too

I ain't trusting any closed AI models since Grok just rugged us with its laxed moderation at first till somebody got upset somebody put bikinis on pictures
>>
Grok's video model is still the best, shockingly good. And the newest image model is probably the industry best at one-shotting new images (terrible at editing them though.) Of course it has become so overmoderated and neutered that the service is completely worthless and not worth paying for. They killed an apex human technology because jeets kept PUBLICALLY putting girls in bikinis instead of secretly doing it in their private /imagine accounts like everyone else.

That week or whatever of it being busted was just them preparing to make it the least usable free major platform. I still use it once a day for my smut roleplay, but I run out of messages before I'm done. They give you so fucking few and it takes a full fucking day for it to refresh. Gemini is my go to for actually using an Ai assistant to answer questions or chat with.

Grok was based before they limited free uses so fucking hard

>>
>>108694767
Seedance is better, but grok video is still top 3 model. They jumped from having nothing to top video in a year. Its great. But "the problem" for me is that its not free. Bweh. It was great when it was free
>>
>>108697113
You use it for coding? Do you use that 'grok-code-fast-1' model?
I'm subscribed to supergrok but not sure how to set that up for the casual huge Lua and Python scripts I sometimes make for games
>>
>>108703979
I was using the free one, so whatever is the default. You have to really make your queries count since you only get like 2 every couple of hours. What I like about grok is it really tries hard to give you a comprehensive answer, so you can actually do a lot with just one query. And then if needed a second one for clarification.
>>
Hopefully this is all just prep for a really good model 5 (excludes the EU and certain American jurisdictions) that isn't restricted from doing whatever. I got all the financial advice I was going to use from it before the outage, so if it stops working then that's a shame but an acceptable loss
>>
File: grok query.png (560 KB, 2560x1440)

>>108697113
yeah, I like how thorough it is.
Like in this pic, all those gray text boxes by Agents 1, 2, & 3 are like reports sent to Grok (the group leader) for consideration, and each can be expanded to show their own lists of thoughts and research, which the research can also be expanded to see multiple web searches with each having like 7 sites it found and scraped for consideration. Then Grok weighs the final opinions of all the agents all to make one final answer

the grok button on twitter is fucking incredible for providing context of some random shit or some news story that people are referencing, context basically. seriously it's fucking incredible and way better/easier than every other thing. it sucks for everything else.

>>108701361

Anons it is halfway through 2026. Grok is like wan 2.2 tier except even worse with faces. It's only saving grace was that it was fast and cheap for gooners. It can't even do that properly anymore.

new limit on chat generation in the free tier (waiting 5 seconds for response). its sad to watch them scramble to change their offerings, pricing, and features in real time as they lose millions of dollars. jesus christ these guys are amateurs. that they didn't see these issues early on and move to address them then, when so many companies had already solved these problems years before. pathetic.
>>
>>108704260
yes, to people who haven't seen this before, it's almost like magic. grok is a poor contender in the overall ai field, however.
