Grok's video model is still the best, shockingly good. And the newest image model is probably the industry best at one-shotting new images (terrible at editing them though.) Of course it has become so overmoderated and neutered that the service is completely worthless and not worth paying for. They killed an apex human technology because jeets kept PUBLICALLY putting girls in bikinis instead of secretly doing it in their private /imagine accounts like everyone else.

That week or whatever of it being busted was just them preparing to make it the least usable free major platform. I still use it once a day for my smut roleplay, but I run out of messages before I'm done. They give you so fucking few and it takes a full fucking day for it to refresh. Gemini is my go to for actually using an Ai assistant to answer questions or chat with.

I was using the free one, so whatever is the default. You have to really make your queries count since you only get like 2 every couple of hours. What I like about grok is it really tries hard to give you a comprehensive answer, so you can actually do a lot with just one query. And then if needed a second one for clarification.

Hopefully this is all just prep for a really good model 5 (excludes the EU and certain American jurisdictions) that isn't restricted from doing whatever. I got all the financial advice I was going to use from it before the outage, so if it stops working then that's a shame but an acceptable loss
