Why can't you move and resize windows by holding the alt key in W11?

Win and Mac here. Someday when I have more free time I might play with Linux.

Windows is goycattle israeli spyware. PajeetOS is currybook nonsense. Linux is filled with tranners but respects my privacy at least. A lot better than using currybooks or microsloptops.

My work uses Macbooks but in my free time I use Linux (Debian and KDE Neon).
I only boot into Windows for certain niche gaming situations.
If I had the choice I would exclusively use Linux these days.

Only Linux, almost always Gentoo. Burned out on Windows, and never had a use case for getting a BigMac. Would like to try out FreeBSD tho.

macos really sucks. i dont understand how people use it by choice. the context switching between ctrl and cmd when using terminals, the lack of alt tab, the way windows dont actually close when you press x… its all just horrible anti-user garbage.

I use linux(mostly SUSE but also my own distro) ,windows NT, Windows XP, Windows 7,Windows 2000 Professional, HPUX, SymbOS, Spectrum NextOS, CP/M,+3 BASIC, +3Dos, OpenSolaris, AmigaOS, SunOS 5.3, DOS 6.22, Windows Server 2003,.2008R2, Server 2012 and a a bunch of others. I have developed and release software for Mac Classic (hated them) and numerous realime boards and 8 bits.

Yes. I have a job where I am forced to interact with all three operating systems on a weekly basis. I would rather use Linux (Debian / Devuan, RHEL / Alma, Fedora, or PCLOS) than OS X, and I would rather use OS X than Windows.

The clients we have with offices full of Windows boxes do give us far more money than anyone else (purely because the average Windows office drone has no fucking clue how to use a computer, printer, scanner etc...), so it is what it is.

The only good thing about MacOS right now is their hardware, specifically the SoCs, display and chassis compared to x86 laptops. You have to be a masochist to willingly use Windows considering how shit it has been in the past 10 years or so. I'd rather use Android/ChromeOS over it.
