Do you use all three?
Why can't you move and resize windows by holding the alt key in W11?
Win and Mac here. Someday when I have more free time I might play with Linux.
>>108695994Win and Linux here. I haven't had the need to run macOS, maybe in the future for developing iOS/macOS apps
If I switch to macOS I won't have much reason to keep Windows around.
>>108695994Was a previous macfag. Now Winows, iPadOS, and Linux in WSL2 on occasion.
>>108695994Yeah, Windows and Linux at work, macOS and Linux at home. Most of my real work is done on Linux, Windows is for answering emails, and my MBP is mostly for consooming.
I don't do it. I only use linux, but im waiting for my hardware upgrade to install windows on another hard disk and play on itand you, anon? do you use them all ?
Windows is goycattle israeli spyware. PajeetOS is currybook nonsense. Linux is filled with tranners but respects my privacy at least. A lot better than using currybooks or microsloptops.
>>108695994Pretty much.My work uses Macbooks but in my free time I use Linux (Debian and KDE Neon).I only boot into Windows for certain niche gaming situations. If I had the choice I would exclusively use Linux these days.
>>108695994i used macOS until Linux got good with GNOME 3, systemd, flatpak, and wayland.then i hopped between to fedora beta prereleases, tumbleweed, and arch
>>108695994Only Linux, almost always Gentoo. Burned out on Windows, and never had a use case for getting a BigMac. Would like to try out FreeBSD tho.
>>108695994Use case for mac os?
Had to start using Windows now that I'm in college again. Fedora for everything else. Haven't used a Mac since '93 or '94.
>>108695994Windows on desktop, Linux's ecosystem is utter dogshit.Linux on home server, Windows Server is a meme that rightfully lost to Linux. No macOS as I like buying hardware that lets me choose what to install on it.
Linux on main desktopmacOS on secondary desktop sort ofWindows on work laptop (soon hopefully macOS)
>>108695994No. MacOS seems pretty pointless unless you are a tech illiterate woman. Like Windows and Linux have their niches that make it worth using. Windows has by far the best software support, and Linux has the freedom. While MacOS has...a branded logo?
>>108696980Being a good cattle, only every buying the apple product
>>108695994I use Fedora on my personal desktop and server, have to use Windows, BSD, macOS and Ubuntu at work. macOS is not so bad, would choose it over Windows any day.
yep>macbook from job>windows as personal machine>ubuntu on my secondary laptopmacos really sucks. i dont understand how people use it by choice. the context switching between ctrl and cmd when using terminals, the lack of alt tab, the way windows dont actually close when you press x… its all just horrible anti-user garbage.
I use Win for desktop and 20% laptop and Mac for 80% laptop
>>108695994>windowsWork>macosAt my mother's>linuxHome computing
>>108695994Yes. The scope of windows has reduced with time. But I have a burnout from computing in general.
>>108696902>have to choose between being jewish, being a jeet, or being a tranny>everything else is unusable or 20 years behind like ReactOSI fucking hate modern tech so much man. If I didn't have to participate in >society I would just go off-grid.
>>108695994Yeah I literally have all 3. I use my mac for my shared resources. Also it's something my wife likes. We have a couple mac minis and an imac. I personally only keep windows now for windows related things and gaming. I am mostly either on linux or my mac
>>108696603Unless ur job demands it... don't bother. Though having apple related products is nice.
>>108695994macos is garbageI use linux(mostly SUSE but also my own distro) ,windows NT, Windows XP, Windows 7,Windows 2000 Professional, HPUX, SymbOS, Spectrum NextOS, CP/M,+3 BASIC, +3Dos, OpenSolaris, AmigaOS, SunOS 5.3, DOS 6.22, Windows Server 2003,.2008R2, Server 2012 and a a bunch of others. I have developed and release software for Mac Classic (hated them) and numerous realime boards and 8 bits. Mac OS is completely beneath me. It exists for retards and clowns who don't like tech.
>>108695994Yes. I have a job where I am forced to interact with all three operating systems on a weekly basis. I would rather use Linux (Debian / Devuan, RHEL / Alma, Fedora, or PCLOS) than OS X, and I would rather use OS X than Windows. The clients we have with offices full of Windows boxes do give us far more money than anyone else (purely because the average Windows office drone has no fucking clue how to use a computer, printer, scanner etc...), so it is what it is.
>>108695994yesmostly linux
>>108695994>Windowshome desktop PC and laptop>macOScompany provided macbook pro>Linuxservers
>>108695994>linux is just a windows app
Macbook for CubaseAsus laptop+Arch+Hyprland for literally everything elseSimple as
>>108695994sadly yeswish i could drop win10 but there are some things linux really sucks at, random shit like copying photos from your phonemac feels fundamentally untrustworthy but the hardware is great. good laptop, would never use it as a main machine
>>108695994No, im not a faggot incapable of making a choice and sticking with it. I use one of the three.
>>108695994yeahnas server is linux gaming server is windows every day driver is mac the perfect trinity
>>108695994but of courseFreeBSD, too, for peerless ZFS support
>>108695994I go to the store to use a mac, but i don't buy it
>>108695994Sadly, yes.2000-2017: Windows > MacOS > Linux2018-2021: MacOS > Linux = Windows2022-2026: Linux > MacOS >>> WindowsThe only good thing about MacOS right now is their hardware, specifically the SoCs, display and chassis compared to x86 laptops. You have to be a masochist to willingly use Windows considering how shit it has been in the past 10 years or so. I'd rather use Android/ChromeOS over it.
>>108695994Use all three. None are perfect and shit in one way or another, but it is what it is.- Mega beefed out desktop Windows 11 for programming/gaming- MacBook M3 Pro for doing stuff on the go and/or programming- Old desktop PC that I turned into Linux home media/torrenting server
>macbook running macos (at least until Asahi is usable)>home computer running linux (EndeavorOS until I get around to learning Nix)>home computer has an old ssd with Windows for games that have weird bugs on Protonyes
>>108695994No. I use windows when necessary to make money. I have no reason to use mac, thankfully.
