how hot is your graphics card at stress test?mine's space heater!
74'c isn't even hot, my 6700xt hits 105'c full load regularly
>>108697636>stress test?Why would I do that
>>108697636furmark will always hit your cards ppt limit unless you have a fps cap.in my case 7900xtx that would be 360w and if I max out the power slider then its 450w.
>titan xlook at this ancient gamer right herei think my 4080 hit 89c at the hotspot on full load but i don't trust the sensors and it's probably closer to 100
>>108697644if your pc crashes at stress test, your pc needs maintenance>>108697643how long you've changed thermal paste?
>>1086976365070ti ganerock avg about 56c gpu and 60c mem running hard about 65 and 68
at an ambient of about 17c a sustained 600w workload will push a blackwell 6000 with a conservative fan curve (like 60% max maybe idr exactly atm) to 82c.
112C apparently
I changed my 3080s pads some time ago10min 99% workload hovers around 60c while gpu eats 280w
>>108699418remove side panel
>>108699476I strapped new fans to it and now it runs much cooler
>>108699477well done. your hotspot delta is only 18 degrees, your heatsink-thermal paste situation is ok.
>>108697636my nvidia rtx 5090 regularly runs 2562°C
>>108697725I don't need to change thermal paste, it has ptm. It did this right out of the box, because it's a 2 slot dual fan 6700xt. They just run 110'c out of the box in furmark. I capped tdp so it would stay around 105'c max instead.

>>108697636i expected the "how slow is your pc?" guy to have a shittier GPU
>>108699757I run an 8% undervolt on mine. Drops the wattage by 25%, runs cool and quiet. It does need a repaste but it's not critical.
Most GPUs I had hovered between 85 and 100C hotspot. I had a 7900GT reach 110C.My 9070xt gets closer to 70C hotspot. I don't understand how you can call 71C hotspot a space heater.
