I need a 6 foot long table that can hold a CRT monitor that I can also get under to plug/unplug stuff from the outlet to the right of it, without the risk of bumping the unlocking tab and sending the monitor falling into the floor/my head.
Any suggestions? Should I just build a table myself?

I just went to my local thrift store and bought a solid wood table

Just buy a couple double bolt hose clamps to keep the locks in place on the bar so it can't slide. I swear you faggots are dead in SHTF not being able to come up with a cheap trivial solution.

Anyone getting a CRT needs to understand why they even want one.

Oh even cheaper, drill a small hole, insert pin from top. Done.

I don't know about CRT but I have had that folding table for the past 10 years and it is still holding up fine.

anon is retarded, the table folds open from the bottom not the top so even if he hits the unlocking tab nothing is gonna fucking move, the supports with the o-rings keep the table from collapsing along the center hinge.
those tables just look like shit, they're very study provided you don't stack bricks on them.

they want one because they seen somebody else have one, it's pretty easy to understand
will it get literally any use? no
that's just the world we live in now, everything is performative

stfu I already told you my table has been holding up fine for 10 years you faggatoid.

The sturdiest most reliable tables you can get for a reasonable price in my personal opinion. I don't put anything too heavy on mine, just my two non CRT monitors and keyboard and what not. I have the desktop under it to the left of me but I bet if I wanted to I could put it on the table just fine as well.

Uh... thanks? I figured you were just having a bad day lol.

For me it's their ability to handle lower than "native" resolutions without loss of clarity or added latency
>crts have no native resolution
Just using that word because it's easy to understand.
I'd love to have a 20" 4:3 480p IPS TV/display for my Wii but nobody ever made such a thing.
For PCs I'd love to have IPS monitors in resolutions sub-1080p resolutions and especially 4:3 models but again nobody really makes them, and if they do they're tiny and made for CCTV systems.

You should really check the area better before posting stuff online next time.

Clean your mind anon. It's a dustcloth.

My dildo collection is all out of frame.

Rough drawing of my plan. I have to be able to get to the outlet to unplug stuff when there's a thunderstorm which is the problem, most computer tables I've looked at have solid walls which block that off entirely.

>>108698921
Thanks, I was thinking of something like that but didn't know what it would be called. Doesn't matter though because the diagonal bars limit the amount of space under it and I'd like to maybe put some drawers there.
>>108699027
Actually it does close from any slight movement once you've unlocked it, I've had one of these tables before

I think there were 480p plasma tvs but not 4.3 ?
Also there are 768p tvs but again not 4:3

cursed

>>108698213
That table in your pic would be fine. CRT monitors are not *that* heavy.

Wdym, 16:10 is blessed. I can enjoy pillarboxing for standard ratio and letterboxing for true widescreen :P
Got it for free tho so don't really mind

Do the legs fold on this one like a table?
