What I hate is that when you paste a torrent url to download, and it doesn't immediately appear in the torrent list, there's no indication of what is happening with that request. Did the server return a webpage instead of a torrent? Is the request hanging? Did a dns lookup fail? Is it retrying? You have no clue what's going on and if the client is still making requests. Why is that? Linux software just feels kinda.. I don't know, sloppy.
>linux softwareqbit was primarily coded by refugees from winblows, who were fleeing the botnet, and this is evident in the clustered interface, that only a winfag would love.
>>108699857the interface looks comfy af to mei love cozy windows with lots of neat stuff going onminimalist design can get pissed on
>>108699828Idk but I don't use that freetard bloatwareI use uTorrent 2.2.1 and it just werks
>>108699828You should ask for a refund
I don't recall ever having this issue. Actually, I don't recall any issues ever with this software, which is strange. It always just werked for years and years.
>>108700397Are you sure? Try it now and show me where the "pending request"/status window is.
just add more trackers bro xd
>>108700817After a 1 or 2 second delay, it pops up with the window where you pick what files you want and save locations and all that. That is, if you literally mean a link to the .torrent file and not a magnet. Even magnets pop up like this even if the files aren't showing yet.I don't understand your exact issue.
>>108699857this, a unix torrenting program would consist of a server daemon and a client that communicates with the server over unix sockets or TCP, whichever is more convenient
>>108699828Works on my machine Have you tried not being a retard?
>>108699828tixati is better
