What do you think about EuroOffice?
>>
>let's take a russian program and rape it with AI slop commits written using an American AI and add 9999 vulnerabilities

that age verify humiliation ritual at startup is awesome
>>
It is just forked OnlyOffice which is actually quite impressive, with I assume NextCloud? My main problem with OO is that it’s written in javascript, so while it looks close to a 1:1 clone with MS Office, it’s quite slow.

Why are they like this?

So it's like regular office but 70% of the letters you type are confiscated by corrupt communists?
>>
>>108700696
Meme fork of the season
>>
>>108701111
Why does somebody not using microsoft make you so angry?
>>
>>108700696
It could finally be the open source response to MS office that would help break Windows' hold on the PC market.
But the truth is that it's going to be the same software but with a coat of paint costing millions paid by the EU.
>>
>>108700696
never liked onlyoffice so I'm glad this fork pisses the onlyoffice devs off.

How many EU backdoors will it have? More than the NSA Microslop or less? Probably will flag you if you type a slur. Also it's built on Only Office!? Wasn't it Russian?

Place your bets on how it will SHTF.

this is satire, right?

>How many EU backdoors will it have? More than the NSA Microslop or less?
Less because the EU relies on the US for all of that.
>>
>>108702006
But that means it will have more?
First you get all the US backdoors and then the EU is adding some of their own on top?
>>

Come back as me this when they are adding actually features.

i wanted to say it's just a fork of onlyoffice but appears that they didn't really have a choice but to fork. nevertheless, i'll continue using onyloffice for now. it already is perfect unless they start removing features or something.
>>
>>108702039
>they didn't really have a choice but to fork.
what makes you think that?
>>
>>108702343
EuroOffice fags.cited things like OnlyOffice's company not accepting PRs, having poor documentation for compiling the software and being secretly Russian (and therefore being affected by the self-imposed restrictions of cuckrope) as the reasons for doing a fork of the software.

I see no reason to switch away from LibreOffice

I intentionally don't have a (((smart)))phone so I guess I won't even try to install this shit
>>
>>108702869
>I see no reason to switch away from LibreOffice
The point is for the EU to be in complete control of said projects. The goal is to be Euro-centric. Nothing with ties to outside the EU.
LibreOffice has ties to outside the EU and the EU doesn't control LibreOffice. All the "stakeholders" behind EuroOffice are under the influence of the EU.

Its sad really. I would love this as its very European pride, but considering the EU is genociding its native white population for browns, its hard to feel any pride at all.
>>
>>108700696
Lol what kind of nerd writes emails in Latin
>>
>>108702869
>I see no reason to switch away from LibreOffice
OnlyOffice/EuroOffice has better support of microsaar's formats. Government workers love to use Excel and Word for everything, so having a program that opens correctly docs that are opened and edited in at least 3 different versions of MS Office (some of them 20yo) is a must.

Why are you writing like an LLM?
>>
>>108700712
I installed OnlyOffice as a snap package and it was so slow it was unusable.

nta but if you actually read the post you replied to you'd realize that you yourself come off as an chatbot. the answer is in the pic posted.

They should have just bought out Softmaker Office.
>>
>>108702869
>I see no reason to switch away from LibreOffice

For me, I really want to stay with LibreOffice but it has no viable Android apps for editing documents and that's pretty frustrating. OnlyOffice has a much better mobile solution.
>>
>>108701145
>corrupt communists

As opposed to the Moscow version?

>>
>>108700696
Will it come with automatic AI wrongthink detection and mandatory EU-approved Super Secure And Anonymous I Promise You Guys (TM) age verification systems?
If not, this is just another faucet of literal fascism that is not worthy of the bearing the Evropean name.

Microsoft Word has built-in wrong-think detection. They had better add it to get 100% compatibility.
>>
>>108704470
hahaha this can't be real
>>
>>108700696
I'll use it if they add actual bibliographies and in-text citations.
>>
>>108702531
Yeah, so you can refactor it into effectively no longer being Russian.
>>
>>108704493
Oh it's very real, and I just noticed more slop. The 'options' screen using an older GUI toolkit which looks quite alien to the rest of the program. It also hasn't scaled properly to the hidpi display, so if you notice the 'g' characters in "Language" they have their bottom (descender) cut off.
>>
>>108700701
I wonder if the Russian program r7.ru which is alleged to be the source of "Latvian" OnlyOffice was also made with JS? Russians typically use compiled languages.... I'll find out.
>>
>>108704528
I plan to stay on win10 for as long as humanly possible

I made the Jump to 11, but I’m scared of what comes next. I’ve removed the crap I don’t like, it’s stable and everything for the time being ‘just works’. I don’t trust this CEO not to push more idiotic ideas (remember recall?).

It’s funny, I started testing OnlyOffice (EuroOffice) as part of my windows escape plan. Ultimately it’s not good enough, and if I do run linux, I’m going to need a Windows VM to run Excel. I’ll cling to the end of time. I now understand the boomers who never stopped running Lotus 1-2-3.
>>
>>108700696
Good on them for exposing OnlyOffice as faux open source

If they could build VS Code in JS why not.
I am writing a 75k LOC script in VS Code and it works well.
Why couldn't normies write a doc in a JS doc editor?
