Altman now says the AGI bottleneck is a lack of fusion reactors.
>>
So 20 years out then?
>>
>>108709612
Yes. Now buy some OpenAI stock.
>>
When will this clown nightmare we live in be over?
>>
>>108709612
>only 20 years
Oh you sweet summer child...
>>
chinese experiment fusion - maybe its cloudy but no stars visible

french experiment fusion - massive sunspots
>>
TOKAMAK bros we live
>>
>>108709606
Altman (scammer) now says the AGI bottleneck (scam) is a lack of fusion reactors (also a scam).
WOW!
>>
>>108709606
Lettuce say he talked to Biden in 2022 and told him there'd be 100 fusion reactors by 2026.

How would you even build a single ONE in 4 years when we're nowhere CLOSE to building a fusion reactor? Keep in mind nuclear reactors take 20 years to build in the US, factoring in the constant delays.
>>
>>108709606
Well if we did had that tech probably sure.
>>
>>108709606
Stupid kike world allowing this scammer to reach where he is now.
>>
>>108709696
typical 4chan know it all starts hallucinating when he doesn't know the answer. fusion reactors exist and have for decades, and they can even sustain fusion reactions, what they can't do is produce net positive energy, althoug in 2022 they did produce breakeven
>>
>>108709865
>what they can't do is produce net positive energy,
Thank you for proving his point, you absolutely disgusting subhuman.
>>
>>108709621
how
>>
>>108709606
Is AGI also going to usher in the Year of the Linux Desktop™?
>>
>>108709606
Didn't Scam Cultman say they have already achieved AGI? At least the separate times, too
>>
>>108711853
he did but it needs $500 billion a second to run
>>
It's amazing to me how billionaires who know absolutely nothing about how computers, or coding, or AI work, suddenly become experts in AI because they can do ONE NEAT TRICK that nobody else can do. They can use their billions of dollars to use LLM technology that's 30 years old and use a brute force technique to a facilely of what AI might look like one day.
>so wut anon
They're billionaires who betting their life savings one that nobody will ever find how to do AI for real. Not LLM technology, but I mean innovate something new that will be genuine AGI. Think of this, they're building nuclear powered infrastructure and huge data centers across the globe because LLM technology demands it. They're throwing everything they got at LLM, but what happens when something new comes out that's just as powerful as the best nuclear powered LLM but runs off a clock battery? They're betting everything they have this will never happen.

If you ask me, these companies are anti-AI or rather anti-innovation cause any AI that functions without being powered by a nuclear reactor will undercut and destroy their company.
>>
>>108711853
Remember when each new ChatGPT was too powerful to be released to the public?
>>
>>108709641
Short of some huge happening (nothing ever happens), like nuclear annihilation, I really think everything will just continue to get gradually worse at a pace that is unnoticeable to the average person until extinction
>>
>>108712639
except more and more people are noticing, and many are specialized in particular area of decline. Its not going to be a gradual slope, but rather a stair step pattern of various depths, but at a certain point (probably sooner rather than later), a stair step will happen that will effectively be identified as "the" collapse.

Le Mythus face.

Saying shit is easy.
I'm the god of destruction of the universe 6.
>>
>>108709612
Just 2 more weeks.
>>
>>108712181
when are you losers talking about how "llm isn't true agi, true agi hasn't been tried" gonna show us your "true ago" oh wait you have not and don't even have an inkling of a beginning of where this true ago is going to come from or how
>>
>>108709606
Just like children need several fusion reactors to learn how to perceive reality, walk and do basic math right.
>>
>>108709606
>MY SNAKE OIL NEED ANOTHER SNAKE OIL TO WORK
he is not molotoved enough
>>
>>108709606
A fusion reactor flew over my house
>>
>>108713972
Kek
>>
>>108709978
Sorry I meant OKLO, they're making the reactors
>>
>>108709606
The only fusion reactor is in my pants when I prompt funny pictures
>>
>>108709606
>agi is only 2 weeks
>send 10 trillions dollars saar
>>
>>108709606
Why don't humans need internal fusion reactors to be intelligent?
>>
>>108714148
Chat GPT is already more intelligent than the average pajeet so maybe the AI bros are onto something
>>
>>108714159
That's an incredibly low bar. My question still stands.
>>
>>108714171
>My question still stands.
Unironically no one knows the answer
>>
>>108709612
fpbp
>>
>>108709606
What's next he gonna complain about, lack of neuromorphic computers? Suddenly the grift doesn't work anymore because to continue he needs hard science facts heh?
>>
>>108709865
Using AI to manage the magnetic fields and reactor output has in fact lead to world record activation times.
AI is unironically going to solve the fusion problem.
>>
>>108714556
>AI hallucinates
>city vaporized with the force of a thousand suns
>>
>>108709606
yeah the bottleneck of AI is power generation and heat managent this is hardly a secret
n'fusion is probably the cleanest method for the amount of power needed
in reality the breakthrough will come in power and heat reduction by method of tech used
going from electricity based to light based i.e.
>>
we all know coal is the future
>>
>>108709865
Go suck Jensen Huang's chode you massive faggot retard. Stop shilling on here, you're not even pretending anymore.
>>
>>108709606
>builds dyson sphere to get 93% on HellaSwag
The future is now.
>>
>>108709606
god what a stupid fuck.

>Altman now says
>Elon Musk claims
>President Trump states
irl needs better anti-troll modding.
>>
>>108714611
Thanks simpsons
>>
I mean, if AI insanity is the thing that finally gets nuclear fusion across the finish line as a tech then this whole thing will have been worth it. Many such cases in history.
>>
>>108715860
It would make me fucking pissed knowing that we could've gotten working fusion anytime if some Silicon Valley CEO promised some stupid bullshit to the president but hey, whatever works.

>just 2 more fusion reactors mr president i swear
>>
>>108716053
Right now we have zero (0).
We probably can fix everything with more than (0).
