The docs say the preferred update method for KDE is via Discover but it wasn't offering me the upgrade even after a day so I just used command line. Went without any issues.Nvidia driver 595 combined with ntsync and descriptor_heap branch of vkd3d has me probably at less than 10% performance loss compared to Windows with DX12 games so Nshittia is finally getting usable.

You can sudo modprobe ntsync on F43 too btw. They just made it load by default on 44. All in all it's not a gigantic increase but I am now maintaining a minimum of 60 fps in a game I tested where I was dropping to 55 before.

For many more obscure packages they don't even bother backporting anything. Many times there aren't even CVEs assigned to vulnerabilities in them.
