I dumbfucked my way into an IT job recently. Is it really just doing random tech tasks as they come up forever? I've been doing everything from setting up workstations to reading over very boring NIST risk management framework to documenting a phone outage. I fucking hate working. I just want to learn art man.
>>108714364>I just want to learn art man.Adolf?
>>108714392I have nothing against the jews. However I sometimes consider just going off the deep end out of sheer boredom. Working is just so bland, every day just blends together. The last decade of my life has been miserable.

>>108713704>IT is deadnot as long as AI cant physically interact with its environmentitll see a shift to more hardware focussed support and optimization
>>108714554Hardware is already hitting limits in physical space. It's software that's getting worse, and AI isn't making it better

I feel vindicated I never bothered to actually go into IT. Still in my early 20s trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. Everyone tells me I'm talented and should go into big tech but I see the writing on the wall.
>>108715948protip from an ancient person, instead of trying to figure out what you want to do with your life just do a bunch of stuff and see where you end up.
