IT IS NOT AI - IT IS LLM

GET THIS IN YOUR BRAIN: ITS JUST FANCY SOFTWARE TO SOLVE SOME MATH FOR THE PROPABITLITY OF THE NEXT WORD WITH SOME DATABASE TO SOUND LOGICAL - MOST EXPENISVE BOT SHITTERY

Cope Luddite cat. We aiGODS won. You will be replaced and left behind
>>
>>108716928
Which, mind you, has it's uses.
It's not Skynet nor will it ever be.
It won't replace everyone.
But it is not completely useless.

The tech itself is fine. The economic grift around it is the real problem.
>>
>>108716928
that's all humans do though...
you luddites repeat this over and over like it means that it's useless.
if autocomplete was useless it wouldn't exist
>>
>>108716928
What if I give it an audio prompt for a video? Where are the words, luddite?
>>
>>108716963
I use llm's but only a retard would think this qualifies as AI
>>
>>108716963
you/your discord must really like that image to keep spamming it day and night
>>
How can a synthetic brain structure trained on just words and numbers figure out novel (not in the training data) math problems?
>>
>>108717064
it's done via machine learning, which falls under the umbrella of AI according to every single academic research institution and every single technology industry leader. you are some loser 4chan poster you do not decide what words mean, they do.
>>
>>108717070
how can a random number generator generate numbers that mean something
>>
I can't wait for the Luddite menace to be replaced and exterminated by the AI powered robot army that is being built as we speak.

LLMs have been scientifically proven to have a Mind's Eye. You can probe into their residual stream and see that they literally visualize a board in order to predict the next move of a game. If you can't see an apple in your head. LLMs are arguably more conscious than you. https://arxiv.org/abs/2210.13382
>>
how does an llm write coherent rhyming poetry without backing itself into a corner
>>
>>108717076
We've built something that fundamentally has the basis of human intelligence that is pattern recognition but tech companies are pushing the idea we've built something more intelligent than humans despite even the weakest datacenter exceeding human brain capacity a thousand times, yet this pattern recognition technology keeps fucking up because it has no relation to what's real, false, good or bad, only numbers. Yet the grift must go on and we can't afford computers as the 1% has priced everyone out to gain the most out of this bubble before it pops. Scam the investors, leave the fallout to us. That's the issue.

My brain chooses the wrong word all the time (getting better tho). These LLMs are better than my brain at math!
>>
>>108716928
Unfortunately, you're incorrect.

Basically, under the words there is a logic engine, something like that.

It's rather similar to the fact that humans can only use words in English class, but can learn logic during English class.
>>
but what about people using LLMs for previously unsolved math proofs?
>>
>>108716928
That's like what your brain does, or something... Define consciousness, you can't... the AI is actually alive and we created consciousness... I'm so deep
>>
>>108717076
Words means something i don't care that academia uses a retarded tranny definitions, just like you will never be a woman, these models do not have any intelligence.
>>
>>108717822
yeah words do mean something, LLMs are AI.

Where is this "coherent poetry" written by an LLM? May we see it?

AI or not you're still gonna fry luddite bitch!
>>
>>108717493
The devil is in the details there.
The LLMs act as drivers for harnesses which export the actual workload to other programs that basically explore a massive search space by composing known logic to see if we can generate new logic.

It was already possible to do this before LLMs by just wrapping tuning scripts on things like https://maxima.sourceforge.io/. The LLM is just making it so that part is obfuscated to people who dont know what that is, it's not actually defining new proofs within the bounds of inference.

define intelligence, luddite. oh wait you can't.
>>
>>108716928
Yup. Literally just machine learning. Actual AI is years away and won't be built on this crap.
>>
An if/else chain is called AI so you can call LLMs AI as well

My program that I wrote to play that game also has a mind's eye due to the representation of the board in memory in a 2d array.

And what about models that literally don't use harnesses? And yes its true, that exists, 99% of people who ever try out local models DONT USE A HARNESS. You can install a harness, BUT OFTEN IT NEVER INCLUDES MATH TOOLS.
>>
Op is a schizophrenic denial chudcel that doesnt actually know shit all about machine learning.
