>>108724593We all switched to Freenet 2.0Freenet.org
>>108724608how well does THAT work?
>>108724593>>108724608I really hope this stuff works in the long run
>>108724593I haven't been on it in a very long while, last I knew after nofish left a very small group of people remained there and kept developing>>108724608did that really happen? who moved there? did caryos left?
>>108724593So much overengineering just to end up single-handedly blocked by China lol
>>108725007china blocked zeronet? when that happened?
>>108724593I used it long ago. The problem is that none of these decentralized p2p solutions work properly with dynamic content
>>108724593Don't use zeronet. I pinned Millchan to auto download and it grabbed csam
>>108724593>does anyone use it?I used it for two days ... I think. (details at the end)>how well does it work?I couldn't tell.>is there anything else like it?Dear Lord I hope not! When I tried zeronet, about two years ago, there was no real documentation. No step by step tutorial and setting up your first zeronet site. In fact, to this day I'm not sure that I understand what ZeroNet actually does. I thought it was a way of self hosting a anonymous web site that you host on your hard drive.I could not figure out how to name the web site. By trial and error (not by docs!) I found where it puts the first starting default html file. By editing that I made a page. I have no idea if it was visible, or, if it was, what URL I would use to link it.In case it was not clear: I had no idea if it was actually showing any files to the net or not. Even when it was running I could not tell if it was doing anything. It was uninstalled it the next day.Maybe I should instead use Gemini for my site, but I'm not a zoomie millenial Woke weenie who has to specify my pronouns in every capsule.
isn't i2p like the better option?
>>108724593>final release 6 years agono, no one uses it.
