>10 indian phone scammers blowing up my phone out of nowhere over the past 3 days

>>

I've gotten over 500 calls and 750 texts in the past month. It's gotten to the point where I missed a text from my doctors office to confirm an appointment because it was completely buried in spam. It's 15+ calls every single day. I might actually have to get a new number after using the same one for 20 years.

Lame.

You gotta rotate passwords man, I just use googles sign in where I can because honestly if they have a vulnerability in their login system so many people are fucked they'd likely never get around to exploiting my account before I changed everything.
Either
>create a new memorable password with caps and special characters every 1-2 years, use it for everything
>use a password manager with one incredibly long bullshit password that you will never forget and randomly generate password on every site

Either of these are good enough really man

impossible
jeets can't create a functional computer/mobile virus

I keep getting OTP codes sent from Uber and Amazon despite very clearly not logging in.
They are from the official Uber/Amazon accounts.
Not sure what the jeets are trying to phish because they have not actually asked me to put the code anywhere.
I am worried they're just trying to guess them though because Uber is only 4 digits

Imagine having those three whores living in your house and raping every one of them every night especially when they are fat and pregnant.

Are you kidding me? All it takes is a single data breach and someone can access all your accounts.

>>use a password manager with one incredibly long bullshit password that you will never forget and randomly generate password on every site
Password managers have literally one job and yet there has been plenty of data breaches with them over the years, including one major one recently - not some theoretical bullshit but people actually obtaining full passwords along with usernames.

over the past month ive gotten phishing texts from robinhood and coinbase (both empty on account of being poor), as well as a spike in spam calls that even my phone warns me are spam. something clearly must have happened because i usually never get these so frequently, but all of my shit seems secure on my end with no attempted logins

Why would we know?

Probably a medical company.
I get like four or five a day calls from a spoofed hospital number calling me about an outstanding bill from my hospital stay last month. They're even sending letters through the mail.

>okay what fucking retarded overvalued company had a data breach this time?
this month been getting scam calls after years of none.
one of the methods i noticed was contact list sharing, if you get a text and it has a nickname that a specific person calls you, you can tell who got their shit pwnd.
you get a 'Hello, Favorite Grandchild, we're contacting you...' and know granny been talkin to scammers and it's time to teach her some opsec and maybe change her number.
>>
>>108724811
just enable "block calls from hidden numbers" in whatever contact manager/dialer you use
>>
>>108724852
Getting a new number won't fix the problem. Being in a breach exacerbates the problem, but automatic dialers will just try every number from (000) 000-0000 to (999) 999-9999 until they get one that isn't busy. You'll get "found" sooner rather than later and the cycle repeats. The phone system inherently relies on trusting that nobody will generally abuse it (aka that everyone is white), so no matter what you personally do, you're just fucked.

on iOS you can just use the brave browser.
