>saves the internet from google>end to end encrypted>full suite with proton pass, proton drive, proton mail, proton vpn, proton authenticatorI'm all in. Of course I have backups on disc and paper, but I'm all in on proton. It is my main email and online hub for storage, writing documents and password management.

>>108726686if I was not technical at all I would use their services probably, but I don't
>terminates accounts of people for holding certain political beliefs Wow, very based!
>>108726686>all inI hope you're a child who hasn't learned yet, otherwise you're a retard.
>>108726686I can only say VPN is pretty good and fast. I often seed 30 .. 100+ GiB daily. They give everyone up to 5 forwarded ports if you're literate enough to figure out how to use natpmpc (I set up a service running bash script on timer to maintain port forwards). I also use free email and have no idea why would I want a paid one. Don't care at all about any other products.
>>108726686you are dumband lyingI dont know a single proton product that is end-to-end encrypted, nor do i think they will ever offer one, since the EU doesnt allow them to do such a thing. There is no benefit in using proton over google.>i dont want to be buttfucked by A, that is why i spread my asscheeks for B while still using A also
>>108727033They have some Switzerland quirks that make it possible iirc, and they still pretend not being able to read any of your emails at all even if they wanted. They also consider leaving Switzerland in case privacy laws catch up with the rest of privacy-unfriendly countries.
>>108727033Switzerland is not an EU member.
>>108726686If the glowniggers aren't seething and attacking it, then it's not secure. It's that simple.
Proton fucking sucks like 85% of the time. Couple that with firefox and the internet just flat out doesn't fucking work most of the time.

idk I just use iCloud for $1 per month, they even give you a vpn
>>108729416vpn is apple relay, only works on safariI don't need it for torrents anyway, I don't live a in a jew controlled countryfor $1 per month its pretty good
>>108726686>full suitenot mentioning they sell you subscription, yet sell out their clients.. who would want all-in-one package? you gotta be fucking retard, to want single provider of email/authenticator/vpn/drive
>>108729842>>108729412>>108729336>>108728406Its not spyware.Fact is Proton can not and will not provide access to your message contents. But they obviously have your billing information and everything you gave them. And shocker: they still have to comply with warrants for stuff they are technically able to hand over, which is not the messages
>>108730128>"“Proton accepts payments via cryptocurrency, cash, and also credit card. If you use a credit card, we do have access to the payment identifier which can be used to identify the credit card holder from the card issuer. We check all legal orders received from Swiss authorities and we understood that a law enforcement officer was shot and explosive devices were involved, and we verified that Swiss legal requirements were met,” he added."Why is /g/ so schizo? Proton is literally the best all in one email service and the only reason that retard got got is because he used a credit card with his name, lol. They literally accept payments in crypto.
Waiting for the bobo poster to dump his links. Proton is a good normalfag alternative but I wouldn't put my trust in it nor would I do so with email. They are liars
So to the schizos that hate proton what's the alternative? Self hosting? Good luck having your shit blocked when you need to send an important email to a business client because it's filtered as spam or you need to get some work done but your server goes down.Let's be real email is one of those things that shouldn't be self hosted, and proton is the least cucked out of all, even more secure than tuta since its not in the 14 eyes and Swiss have privacy laws.
>>108726686>ProtonGlowie honeypot
>>108726686Sorry, but I'm staying with tuta.
Didn't they gave some of their users info to the feds a couple years ago? Why do i keep seeing protonfans here?

Their app won't even work on GrapheneOS.

>>108726891lmao what year do they think it is? 2006?
>>108726686I want to warn people of something that is pretty damn obvious. if this shit was private it wouldnt work for anything period. I know from experiance. prism killed email a decade ago. its been over for most of you late teenagers lives. all mailboxes i owned from google have been permanently locked by them because they cannot connect it to a compromised device like a phone. only the nu ones with better tracking remain open. some of them even have my real name. didn't matter, still locked. lets be serious here for two seconds. Every single thing that matters that requires an email to sign up either wont accept an email from a non compromised domain, nor can you ever reply to any email using a non compromised domain. its completely blocked by government mandate. this is largely why email is fucking dead except for corporate business slop. its a meaningless shithovel.still, while i cant in any way shape or form recommend proton for privacy it might not be a bad alternative if you are getting tired at how unrelentlingly shit gmail is.

>>108737788nta but they're a Swiss company and have to follow Swiss law so it's probably some dumb shit.a quick google brings up "Proton Mail handed over payment data related to a Stop Cop City email account to the Swiss government, which handed it to the FBI."so it's an email that was tied to a domestic terrorist org and all they got from proton was billing info attached to the account, not the contents of any mails.61 people from the org were indicted on rico charges back in 2023.
