Laptop parts aren't as replacable. Mini PCs are modular. Also it is cheaper than laptop of the same specs.

Mini PCs? Can you give an example? Only things that come up when I hear mini pcs are rasp pi's (they are for DIYers and are not modular) and mini ITX builds (expensive).

Also, laptops are good value and repairable. Just don't get something that copies apple's designs.

This piece of shit (the mac mini) has low storage because I refuse to pay 500€ more for 1TB. So I attach a dock with an SSD enclosure, which saved me a lot of money (I already had a spare SN770 I paid 90€ for and the dock was less than that).
