Is this worth installing on my T430? I can't be bothered with the external flashing autism and disassembly that may or may not kill the laptop if I screw up slightly, apparently 1vyrain can damage it too but there's less risk. I'd love to check out coreboot but if it murders the laptop then I'd rather not. Isn't there some safer way of disabling Intel ME?

I had to install it to flash my EC iirc for keyboard mod. It worked fine.
