Do you use websites anymore? Because I sure don't.
>>1087444214chan is a website thobeit
they managed to destroy all the diversity of the internet.
>>108744427Oh no you will break its routines.
only 4chani'm most of my time outside now or vibecoding or gardening or sports or whatever.spend a lot of time with my family lately or just talking to random people.

I can't remember the last time I went to a real website. On one hand that sucks because everything is centralized and the same. But on the other hand it's nice that everything is centralized and the same.Except when they change it and take stuff down. That part is still ass.
>>108744421why would i when i have 4chan, grok, and youtube?

>>108744651Broken routines
ummm reddit is a website if you use at the computer instead of the app
>>108744657kill yourself tripnigger
>>108744662Why would I kill myself? Here's my reasoning on why I wouldn't:If I live, there's always a chance of having good feels. If I die there is zero chance of having good feels.Easy choice to not kill self.
>>108744421I exclusively use websites becauseApps are filled with shitty ads.
>>108744671youve been talking like this on the basket weaving forum for years now. i think its time to let it go
>>108744656Oh no you will unbreak its routines.
>>108744671>If I die there is zero chance of having good feels.that's just an assumption.
>Do you use websites anymore? Yes, why not? If you want, you will find good web sites to visit or post something. Examples: 4chan, substack , blogs and other alternative chans. Isn't hard have your internet live, but you will need search and hunt for it.
>>108744671>If I die there is zero chance of having good feels.the theory is that life is a localized consciousness filtered through the brain and once we die we hyper expand into mind at large. So dying is breaking the localization filter (the brain) and becoming part of a super conscious collective ultra mindand that would feel really good. The question is, is Kastrupian Idealism true. There's actually decent evidence for it but still some problems.
>>108744421Social media killed blogs and other sites.
>>108744671>Here's my reasoning on why I wouldn't:Are you a fucking AI?
>>108744671>>108745717Both of you should kill each other, that way it's not suicide and the world gets two less tripfaggots in it
>>108744421You mean anything aside from social media sites--normalfag or otherwise; independent blogs and forums? Yeah. I prefer to seek information from its main source rather than read someone's diluted impression of it, which is why I prefer blogs for tutorials over seeking the same information on Reddit or JewTube. They aren't updated regularly, and some unfortunately have to be accessed via the IA, but they still serve their purpose--compared to social media platforms, which have no particular purpose, and only serve as time sinks. Normalfags have congregated within a select few walled garden social media platforms, but the infrastructure for the "old Internet" still exists. You have to consider SEO Semitic bullshit, but that's where webrings come in handy. The only way in which normalfags actually affect the rest of the Internet is with their appropriation of other sites (tourism) and exportation of their TikTok faggotry (see /wsg/), and their enabling of the niggers in DC to rape their liberties from themselves for some false sense of security (of which any danger had been created and exploited by three-letter glowniggers).

>>108744427owweeee my routines broke.
I've got nothing.
>>108744427No it isn’t
>>108744421I haven't used a website since the early 2000s
>>108748565What 4chan client is this?
>>108744427Oh nein du wirst die Routinen kaputt machen!
>>108748847Chanology. I made it.
>>108745287I've been enjoying substack. There's some really good ones. I don't sub to any because I am a penny pincher. Also forums are diminished but not dead. Certain hobbies like general aviation have very lively forums, especially manufacturer specific ones like BeechTalk or Mooneyspace.I think you can find these sorts of places for any hobby, you just have to dig further than the absolute surface.
>>108744427Oh no you will break its routines
usecase for websites when I can just download the electron app?
>>108749799Electron apps are websites
>>108745287>good websites>4chanstopped reading
>>108744427cccc-combo breaker!
>>108744431No. There is simply no money to be made on the internet. There was some in the beginning when everyone was excited about it - a few popular blogs and forums were making money and people jumped on the bandwagon. But now industry is mature and there is no longer any money to be made except for the biggest players who are running other services along their websites.
>>108749333Could you send me a link to your repo?
>>108748879Sowas machen wir nicht in DEUTSCHLAND!
>>108744421Yeah, I mostly use websites. Also, fuck websites that constantly beg you to install their botnet on your phone. I'm just not doing it, fuck off. Reddit has been pushing their shitapp on everyone lately. Niggers.

>>108751617Great job, it looks really cool, shame it's IOS only
>>108749349Nice choice. I'm using substack to see about political things about my country. And you my anon, is your choice tech or some thing like it?
>>108753194Also political stuff, but specifically polling. I am a big polling dweeb and I enjoy reading about methodology, tracking events and changes in polling, and using polling to help predict election outcomes.
>>108750247Yeah.Anyone I see making money on the internet is more making money via things they sell on their websites, not any sort of ad revenue from posts. Ads pay so little that the only way to make money through them is tons of users or to have youtube videos with lots of sponsorships (which is well beyond this discussion of running a website).
>>108744513>everything is centralized and the samethis is what ltierally everyone wanted back in early 2000s. and here we are.... i think the deaths of forums is the biggest blow

>>108744427>What is 4chan?>4chan is a simple image-based bulletin board????
>>108744421I hunt them in the ustry cupboards of the internet for ol patches and drivers and mp3 rars. It's spooky when you find an abandoned forum filled with ghosts from 2009
>>108744421Outside of educational websites, almost ever.
>>108744421You might not have noticed, but you're using one right now...
>>108744431Quality sites like skullknight and Tom's hardware are still alive
>>10874442150% of plebbit replies are now bots. that' s not an exaggeration or speculation, it's an actual statistic. we can extrapolate from that and assume ratios of bots to human users are pretty consistent across the web. by 2030, the web will be 90% bots and i'm not making the figure up either.
