Probably some piece of software she uses on a regular basis and has to update frequently.

You need a wheelbarrow to carry your dick and balls around in, don't you?
>>

Unironically hasn't caused an issue in the last 10 years running daily or weekly on dozens of debian based servers and VMs.
I've had more updates completely fucking up my last remaining Windows system than I've had issues with updates on debian.
>>
>>108753240
No, no. I'm a total shill for Debian too. Been using it personally for at least a decade, never had occasion to work with it professionally. Only times I've had a problem it was entirely my fault. It's great.

>>108754658
If only Debian was actually good for desktop OS use, its only value is for servers since it's so outdated. For everything else, there's Arch or CachyOS.
>>
>>108754683
You don't need those new features (or bugs). Stable is stable for a reason. It's totally fine for desktop use.
>>
>>108755595
This isn't Windows. With Linux, you want everything to always be up to date. If you're not on a rolling release distro, you fucked up.

Don't forget where you are. There are retards here still running Windows 7. You're not going to get hacked if galculator is 6 months old.

Also, Sid is a rolling release.
>>
>>108756081
Sid is like a much worse Arch. Debian is a pointless distro these days. People need to drop the pointless shit and just work on Arch instead
>>
>>108756092
No thank you. Keep your new daily bugs and security holes.
>>

>daily bugs and security holes
This is a Windows issue that Linux does not suffer from.
>>

no I don't. In fact I'm going back to pre zoomer kernel.

I like when the updates are handled inside of the program. If the update button takes me to the website where I have to manually download and install a new version of the program I get really upset.
>>
>undooting

I use windows 7
>>

which is exactly why I can rely on quality control by debian instead of the shit microshart or arch or fedora do

I've seen multiple live streams crashed by fucking winblows update forcibly rebooting their PC's
