I have one of these drives because they were once very cheap 1TB drives. the SLC cache is less than 1gb. So as long as your file transfers are smaller than 1gb then it’s not so bad: but if you try to transfer anything over 1GB it slows to a crawl. There is a reason these SanDisk drives were dirt cheap before. They are glorified SD cards with a SATA connection.
