Why does the gallery-dl nigger autistically refuse to use curl_cffi for sites ruined by cuckflare?
>>108756146Good luck trying to receive an .exe file and try and run it on windows 11.
>>108756146There are easy patch suggestions in the GitHub issues on this topic, OP ;-)
>>108756182there are people using winshart11? interesting.
>>108756990What a gross 'pickme' comment. What's the matter, need some le-upvotes? Do you want people to tell you you're on the right side of computer history? I'll never know what compels the midwit to spend his day bashing Windows.
>>108757005take all my updoots good sir
>>108757009Thanks for the gold, kind stranger. <3
>>108757005I never updated from Windows 10 and recently I was helping a friend out with some stuff and Windows 11 is the most retarded, obnoxious and jeeted OS I've ever seen.>startup menu takes 5 seconds to open>check out why in task manager>Ctrl+Alt+Del also takes years to make the windows security screen to pop up>check performance tab>every time you press the windows key, CPU usage gets a spike>lol>lmao>whatever, try to set up some docs>can't save them, PC is full>wat>turns out W11 saves everything to One Drive by default>friend has been saving all his docs for years in One Drive, his own hard drive is barely used>programs that use the AppData folder don't work properly because of this>things like Claude Code, VSCode, git, etc can't be installed easily because of thisI could go on, but W11 is fucking retarded.
>>108756146Software should only be distributed as code you have to compile as a filter to everyone who doesn't know how to
>>108756990No brother, I don't.>>108757005>pickmeSaar, 10 rupees for your bank account, saar. Thank you for defending microsoft online.
>>108757039The OneDrive setup is a horrible dark pattern that trips up normies, indefensible and jeeted for sure. That said, it's easy to circumvent the automatic "backup" behaviour. The other delays I don't really notice, and they're not as severe as you make out, at least on relatively modern hardware (past 4 years). With linux on the other hand, I'm certainly not going to have any less tinkering. Even with an "easy" distro like Ubuntu, I still have to deal with issues of the sound hardware powering down 5 seconds after use (it causes popping on speakers, and amusingly causes headphones to pickup local radio)... Or dealing with video thumbnails not rendering... I could go on too. You see in either case, I'm going to be tinkering, and at the end of it all I'll have a system which runs very well. The benefit of Windows is that it of course runs everything, and there's no compromises being made on software selection. With WSL I can of course even run any linux exclusive software.
>>108757100>defending microsoftI'll defend what I like from Windows, not the company in it's present incarnation.
>>108757132>UbuntuThey can't even keep their repos online kek
>>108757169>Be UK company>Not involved with US defense industry>UK explicitly objects to aggression against Iran.>Iraqi sandnigs take you out anyways. kek. They must have just been low hanging fruit. Otherwise they'd surely have hit Red Hat if they could.
>>108757185Ubuntu is South African not Yookay
>>108757194Canonical is a UK company. Is SpaceX South African?
>>108757203Yeah. Just because I incorporate in Delaware it doesn't make me from Delaware.
>>108757132Not sure why anyone bothers with Ubuntu anymore with all the issues it has like that. It was great a decade or so ago, but I've had much better experiences with Fedora and CachyOS lately. Especially loving the latter. It just werks, except this one little codec issue I haven't gotten around to investigating yet where some .mkv files have weird color textures only on VLC. It's been less than a week and I've had other priorities, I just open the (hentai) video in Haruna and fap and forget, haha.
>>108757214Even the latest Fedora doesn't run as smoothly for me as Windows 11.
nu-/g/ completely derailed by the bait pic on a legitimate question
>>108757005projecting much my friend? feel better now that it's out of your chest? also i daily windows, just not 11
>>108757364Good. It's a thinly veiled tech support thread made by someone who isn't too bright anyway. This is what they deserve.
