How tf do they always have like 20, 40 terabytes of CP on a phone? Like it's always some unimaginable number. Where is this all coming from? 4K security cameras running 24/7 in RAW format with a girl changing once a day? How do you have 40 terabytes on a phone? In most of these cases it's an iPhone too which can't accept SD Cards (max 2TB anyway). Didn't they implement scanning of cloud storagr by Apple and other big companies for this exact same reason, how don't they find out about this beforehand. How do these normalfags with shitty opsec get away with this shit and hoard more than dedicated data-hoarders?
>>108758144>on a phoneThere are HDDs and SSDs in a computers, where you can store data too, like you do on a phone, zoomie
>>108758157Nobody has 40TB on their computer
>>108758144If determinism is true, then every physical detail of your life is technically evidence that you're a pedo because you were always destined to be one. That's a lot of evidence.
>>108758144>How tf do they always have like 20, 40 terabytes of CP on a phone?its fake news thats why
>>108758144It's probably mostly studio files like music videos in 8K, and maybe CCTV files.
>>108758144>Didn't they implement scanning of cloud storagr by Apple and other big companies for this exact same reason, how don't they find out about this beforehand.Because it was only sold as a way to protect kids. In reality they don't care except for blackmail.
>>108758144My non-schizo interpretation would be that they just report on the total size of the "EVIDENCE" folder they have in the prosecution's database without accounting for shit like duplicate files, raw hard drive dumps, high DPI scans, massive out-of-camera pictures, etc.
>>108758144Glowies later admitted on X that it was their hard drive, not singer's. He didn't have any of that material, it was just officers mistake
>>108758169Yes they do, how else could I store photos of your mother's ass?
>>108758144These are a lot of assertions (starting with it even being real rather than planted) but:>Where is this all coming from? 4K security cameras running 24/7 in RAW format with a girl changing once a day?You genuinely underestimate just how terrible phone and camcorder video compression is. By a lot. 5 minutes of video can easily clock in at 250+ MB. Legal amateur clips are usually swapped on an S2R (send to receive) basis before they make it onto mainstream sites and I reckon Pizza is no different. At that point mathematics takes over because it incentivizes saving everything and if you get as much as you give the amounts constantly grow.
>>108758144if the cops seize a 1 TB hard drive, and they find 1 MB of CSAM on it, they can say they found 1 TB of CSAM
>>108758220winzip
>>108758263Kek, yeah that's how drug busts work so I wouldn't be surprised.
>>108758144It's probably just the size of the drives. He could have one 1mb pepe picture on his iphone but they would copy the whole drive and it's segments and says they have 1tb of evidence.
kek should we tell him?
>>108758144it's 40 TB of *evidence*, not 40 TB of cheese pizzalikely includes a shit ton of security camera footage linking him to the murder, etc
>>108758220kek
>>10875814440TB of evidence means 39TB of unrelated police bodycam footage, 1TB of flock camera footage, a single video from a gas station surveillance camera and a word document.
>>108758144Don't worry. They'll conviently erase the date by mistake hahaha
>>108758263If the cops seize an old 1.4 MB floppy disk and they find nothing wrong on it, they will say they found 40 TB of CSAM on it anyway, and people will believe it.
>>108758144hes not one of us
>>108758207I thought that was cancelled because they face backlash?
>>108758263They often do it with file counts too. A hard drive with half a dozen images that might meet the definition of CSAM get reported as several million files because they count all of the files on the drive, including OS files. For the more "honest" police and journalists, they'll technically tell the truth but be sneaky about it, wording things like "the suspect's computer with 2.3 million files was found to contain child harm images".
>>108758144He did not have 40tb of that. That's the total amount of evidence they have. I'm sure 99% of it is not CSAM but rather abandon ultra hd video recordings from his projects. D4vid is a horrible person for murder and dismemberment not for being a MAP>>108758203this says what I said>>108760832and don't forget the definition of CSAM expanded back in 2003 to include non harmful stuff like swimwear and dance clothes websites. MAPs saving pics of unharmed kids on social media are at risk.
>>108758144>take all storage devices, hard drives, flash drives, optical discs, etc.etc.>add up into big number>media repeats number implying this the amount of whatever material>morons, like you, repeat things like parrotsthe end
>>108758144>40TB of evidenceMeans they've seized 40TB worth of drives as evidence. It could be a single sex tape of actually illegal material.
>>108758263>>108760832This is not the only kind of bullshit they pull. In cases when police reports a ludicrous amount of CSAM pictures found in someone's computer, like 500000 pictures, it's because if the suspect had a few CSAM videos, they count each frame in each video as a picture (even if not all frames would count as CSAM material). So a single 2-minute video at 30 fps would already constitute 3600 pictures.
>>108758263Can confirm. I've had jury duty for multiple sex crime related cases and it was the same way. Nobody is going to go through those drives. These days they could probably just use AI to scan the drives but then you're going to see a mountain of reopened cases where the real size to these sex crime related case wasn't the actual amount and so many judges, lawyers, and law informants are going to be fucked over.
>>108760332Cops will straight up lie as well, but the half-truths are much worse because they are essentially lies endorsed by the government. You can't fight those in court.
>>108758144>Be FBI>Seize phone>Search for illegal material>Check Internet history>Download the full content of every site visited>Submit as evidenceIt's that simple. Submitted evidence has to be sites at the time, they can't just submit links in case the data changes or becomes inaccessible.Other answers here aren't necessarily wrong, but are overthinking the problem
I've had enough. When do we just lynch them all? When's shoot on sight going in to effect?
>>108763620they use a scanning tool & database provided mostly by the NCMEC (national center for missing and exploited children). combination of file hashing and image recognition (image dna whatever microsoft called it) is used. cops/fbi/whoever can upload videos and images to this database to be categorized and added to the databases. it's all very secretive. NCMEC has the largest collection of cp on the planet, created by act of congress and founded as a "private non-profit organization".

>>10875814440TB seems insane. I have been torrenting stuff for the past two decades and barely have 20TB.
it works the same way they sold the vaccine, or the ukrainian war, or epstein island, or literally any new thing in the media: they make an obscene headline, and the cattle just buy it.

>>108758144How tf has this nigga not been charged yet?
>>108766082but he's been chargedhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D4vd>On April 20, Burke was charged with first-degree murder of Rivas with special circumstances, lewd and lascivious acts with an individual under 14, and mutilating a body. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
>>108766091Took 'em long enough
>>108758220Bro out here renting satellites to get a proper image.
>>108763620Were you able to submit questions to the prosecution? When I was on a DUI jury, we were able to request the text of the law the guy was charged under and given access to the video the prosecution played in the courtroom. The video was dashcam footage, which contained a lot more than what they chose to display in court. I'm not sure how far juries can go in questioning things once they're in deliberations but I'd certainly want to know how they arrived at their file counts and total storage size calculations, especially classifications.
>>108766060It feels less "icky" than writing out child porn.
I fucking hate glowniggers>Use underhanded methods to go after the lowest hanging fruit>Leave kingpins like Epstein alone and only occasionally choosing to catch one that fumbles so they can justify their existenceThey can go full scorched Earth anytime but then they'd be out of a job!
Does the US store evidence indefinitely? you know in case more comes out and they need to retrial.would be interesting if you could force the government to archive all your data and you can later access it through a FOIA request or something.
>>108758144In the case of your pic they probably just subpoenaed for a shit ton of security footage. For the cp thing it's either because it's planted/was never there, so they can say whatever amount they feel like. Or it's because people download large archives, because the dangerous part is actually accessing it. If you can just grab a bunch a single time that's much safer.
>>108766357My first case was a sex case and everyone they picked never done jury duty before, including me, so you can imagine putting a bunch of confused strangers in a room trying to decide shit. We spent 3 hours because we didn't know what the fuck we were doing plus the law was vague as shit on some of the counts. Some of which were just he-said-she-said counts with no way to prove any of it. We eventually just called whatever evidence was on the table and threw out shit we had no way out knowing and called it a day.
>>108758144How much ever stuff is in that office's evidence locker is added to how much, if any, stuff the current suspect has. I mean who's actually gonna prove them wrong or do anything about it?
>>108766357>I'm not sure how far juries can go in questioning things once they're in deliberationsTechnically speaking juries are not supposed to question things at all, they're supposed to weigh the presented evidence, not re-litigate the case. That means asking questions like "Is this sufficient evidence to convict?" and not speculating "But what if there was more evidence we didn't see?" or "Where did they get this evidence?" How they arrived at x, y, and z is the concern of the guy's defense attorney, not the jury. But in practice juries can do whatever the fuck they want because a juror is never required to justify his/her answer.
