Microsoft Edge keeps every saved password in process memory as cleartext from the moment it launches
>>108761876Doesn't edge also have ai text prediction that sends all keystrokes to Microsoft servers?
>>108761876>admins can see what users are doingno shit, really?
>>108761876Who cares? If you have user level access it's trivial to dump unencrypted Chrome passwords directly from memory. If someone has that level of access to your machine it's already over.
>>108762439admins aren't ever supposed to have access to passwords
>>108762499and how do other browsers solve this?
>>108762455Yeah in firefox you can just copy logins.json and key4.db from the profile folder.

I only ever use Edge if I'm somewhere that absolutely needs Chrome-based browsers to interact with it (I honestly have no idea why these sort of things even exist) or I'm shitposting and can't use an Incognito session from Firefox.Although I would honestly like to ditch Firefox too.
