So we all agree we are living in a simulation right? With how fast we are moving with technology its only a matter of time someone is able to prove that
>>

Simulation Theory is either trivial (as in meaningless) or false for any meaningful definition of 'simulation'.
>>
who's right?
neo or the architect?

What if we are running on physical computers controlled by biological beings with a similar physics to use and complex social worlds and technology?
That would be both meaningful and (possibly) true.

>So we all agree we are living in a simulation right?
Can't you read? It says 50% chance there.
>>
>>108765020
>What if we are running on physical computers
That's definitely false, as far as all known physics is concerned, because physical processes are not computable.
>>
for such a highly detailed and advanced simulation its a shit experience for 95% of people.

that tells you that 5% of people who are having a blast are the actual players and rest of us are NPCs here to populate the simulation.

@Gemini is this true?

Simulation or not, what difference does it make?

it means that there is no such thing as crime, or wrong and right.

neo is the right hemisphere and the architect is the left hemisphere and the matrix is the brain stem

no it doesnt

Who are these "scientists"?
>>
We’re all living in our own simulation, where the simulation engine is our minds responding to and elaborating on vague external stimulus. Think of it like you are an instance of The Sims, and something is interacting with you, piling carpets everywhere and installing fireplaces.

NDEs already prove that there is a higher reality.

cultish behavior that boils down to "trust my acid trip bro"
>>

How is “technology moving fast”? The moon landing happened in the 60s there’s been no major breakthroughs in energy technology since roughly the same time frame. Things like the internet and AI are ultimately meaningless and not a measure of the advance of a civilization. Einstein and quantum mechanics happened in the 1919-1920s. There will be no major advancement until the next step in our understanding of the physical world occurs (string theory? Quantum gravity? Etc all incomplete faf of mathematicians just spinning their wheels)

NTA but 50% is pretty much everyone desu

Pretty much for sure until proven not to be, nta btw

i don't believe it. No simulation would be as retarded as our world is

NDEs happen to people of every religious belief, including Atheists. NDEs are completely random, they don't correlate to sex, age, race, ethnicity, nationality religious belief, socioeconomic status. NDErs as a randomly selected sample are representative of the general population.
>"trust my acid trip bro"
No psychedelics are involved in NDEs. NDE stands for Near Death Experience, and NDErs can have them while being unconscious from cardiac arrest or other diseases or trauma. NDEs may include out of body experiences like in pic related.

I've thought every now and then that simulation theory is a fairly decent metaphor for the Christian trinitarian God
>God the father is the developer who created and is running the simulation
>God the son is the developers avatar within the simulation
>God the spirit is the communication between the developer and the simiulated (us)
The analogy falls apart though when taking in to consideration the eternal nature of God i.e. How would God know the future if he is just running a simulation. I still think its interesting though.

The way I see it, we got way ahead of ourselves in the 60's and have been playing catch up with everything else ever since. The next major scientific breakthroughs will be made on the backs of current shitty tech that makes terrible memes possible.

i mean, what's the difference between the universe being "real" and being a computer simulation from 10th dimensional beings studying theoretical physics in lower dimensions?
