>Not sure what private trackers are all about?
A private tracker is an invite-only torrent website. Each member shares common goals: collecting, preserving and discussing media.

>Staff is reading, being /marked/ is not a meme, and even if it is, it isn't.

>If starting out you should interview for RED, rank to Torrent Master, wait on account age, and get invites from there. THAT'S IT THAT IS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO

How high can your speakers go?
Some shitty ones I have go to 13k, and up to 15k is detectable when you move them around your ear.
Higher than that the sound seems to become lower then higher frequency in a staircase pattern lol.

>>
>>108775602
Hint: You first need to figure out the upper limit of your hearing.

Hint: It's not 20 KHz, don't fool yourself.

Hint: If you can barely notice some high frequency noise at full -0dB, it means that you won't hear anything at regular levels.

> Higher than that the sound seems to become lower then higher frequency in a staircase pattern lol.
Duh, you are not listening to a spherical cow in a vacuum, you have physical objects with specific properties, construction limits, resonances, etc. This is why typical spectrum distribution of recorded music smoothly drops at higher frequencies. Studio crews do not want real audio devices (not expensive measurement equipment in dedicated test rooms) to produce too much noise (distortion) at frequencies quality control probably did not even check.
>>
>>108775788
Findings in
https://arxiv.org/abs/2603.08683
hint that HiRes audio distributors simply add/copy high frequency noise to pretend that “something is there”. Unlike naturally produced audio, it does not compress any better, which means it is essentially random data with no correlation to lower frequency details.

At least for files they tested.

>new qBIt is whitelisted on RED&PTP but I'm waiting
Stay on 5.1.4 until 5.2.x ends.
>>
>>108774112
the z trackers use some retarded tracker software and if your machine/container shuts down (at least with transmission) in the middle of seeding, the z tracker will continue to see you as seeding for ???? a long ass time ???? and typically you have to hit the ghetto "flush ghost peers" button or whatever to make your phantom seed disappear. Otherwise you can stack infinite seeds on a torrent (barring this rule coming in to play) by just shutting down client mid seed and restarting.
>>
>>108775883

Blocking India and Israel is obvious. Bye. Fuck off. But I also blocked Greece because I noticed a weird bandwidth draining operation from a specific IP range there. I could just block that range but I'm lazy.

but you better add 31.217.177.* too

fairly sure these ranges got rented by one of those chinese "offline downloading" companies (like xunlei).
they also have a couple of german and brazilian ranges. probably other countries too.

Isn't the point of a library to actually own the stuff you want to keep? If you're redownloading (or in this case re-streaming) it every time you want to watch it, it kinda defeats the whole point imo since you're still relying on it being available on the usenet servers
>>
>>108778685
The keyword there is want. I want to have a massive library of things others can stream from me. I don't want to pay to store a bunch of shit I don't care about. I want to only pay to store shit that I care about.

Keeping files saved to disk after they're streamed has been requested here https://github.com/nzbdav-dev/nzbdav/issues/100
and someone's implemented it themselves
https://github.com/persistarr/persistarr
I hope it will become able to automate importing the file into your arr library and running a cross-seed search on it

Stellar Blade-voices38

Another day another based voices38 drop. Fuck Denuvo now and forever. I expect the hacked seedbox I am using to feed the leechers on public trackers to get many TBs on this today alone.
>>
>>108775175
been using rtorrent on a seedbox for years only because it lets me have separate data folders per tracker. Is there anything else that lets you do this? Been wanting to try transmission for a while but I think this can't be done. Seems like a big mess to deal with one data folder that has every tracker's data in it, at the very least it would prevent me from auto-running beets on just red/orp data
