speaking as the present era, fuck this whole time span for the pc hobbyist spaceit was all about having the biggest possible case and putting absolutely fuckin nothing inside of it, huge water cooling setups on some dogshit x99 board with a single gtx 980 or something in therethe opaque coolant, blue strip LED's on everything, all that corsair stuff color matched of courseand the satin finish black spray painted interior to chassis designs from 2007actually the worst transitional era, what came before and after the early 2010's is all better

Windows 8 sucked and I don't like the direction smartphones are going but overall I'm optimistic for the future of technology. Surely 8.1 signals the beginning of a return to form. Otherwise Ubuntu Linux doesn't seem that bad, surely Unity will be around forever in a working state.
