If you cannot afford RAM, you don’t really need it, and wouldn’t make good use of it anyways. To those that can afford, they are either receiving it as just reward for their contribution to society, or will put it to good use for everyone’s benefit. If anything, the price needs to go up.

Every time they manage to make AI use less memory they will use the space savings to build bigger AI more capable AI's that use the same amount of ram.The more capable AI becomes, the more demand there will be for it.Every human worker will need a humanoid robot to replace them, each of them needs to be capable of running AI.If there is AGI/ASI the prices will go up forever.
