Just do the opposite and Linux with windows 10 in a VM.
>>
>>108783937
WSL2 is almost like running on hardware. Linux can't compete with a competent product.

Day of the linux desktop any day now.

It's not about competing in 2026, everything we need could be had on hardware from 10-15 years ago.
It's about the ads, telemetry, ram usage, is update interruptions etc. all those things people complained about for a generation only for microshart to double down and increase all of those things in spite of the people being louder than ever about not wanting this shit.
Windows has to strip all that garbage out and take a loss in one area while they keep making money off of the corpos instead.

You get all the useful linux tools without the bloat. It's perfection.
>>

>without the bloat
it is literally just a linux distro in a headless VM
you get 100% of the "bloat"

And all of your drivers work. Plus you can avoid the weakest parts of the linux experience, the desktop environments. Why use KDE when you can have the real thing, Windows?

It's more like Wine, it's actually faster in many cases that Linux on naked hardware. Microsoft did Linux better than the Linux lol.

NTA, you are mixing up WSL1 and WSL2. Also, I use WSL all the time at work, since they only give us Windows laptops, and it's slow as shit whenever you need to interact with the native filesystem, on top of starting up the VM taking 2-3 seconds every time Windows decides to stop it (which usually is after 5 minutes of not having any terminal open).

Ok, yes? And the host (Windows) handles the drivers instead of relying on linux.

Windows can't even compete for Microslop's attention.
