you have in depth js engine knowledge, how'd would I go about aqquiring such knowledge?
>>
>>108786486
might as well go Golang + sveltekit, walk the full mile, right?
>>
>>108786499
Go + Vue is better

what if AI creates a new programming language, called VibeScript?
>>
>>108786521
is it really? sveltekit is menat to do modern SSR, ¿vuex? I believe would be an equivalence

I'm an idealist, and I can picture the utopia, they'd take the best from sveltekitt, and they'd "marry it" to go or .net, spring (or modern java takes) maybe

but you want the full redpill? make vanilla JS fully capable make a native typescript (or better yet, out-do TS), programatically correct math handling, and spa/ssr capabilities, special focus on pre-baked SSR DB enriched pages, all of it wrapped in simple and excellent history and back/forwards browser navigation

that's my distillation of it all

It would look plausible but fail to work, just like all AI slop

imo the thing is that you'd have to put real experienced and thorough programmers in charge of the project, to gen the code and review it, it's the only sane approach I can think of

I used to post non stop about "enjoy your weekend, get some beers with the boys", but I'm now almost 40, and my helth, at least for now, dictates that I can't drink let alone get drunk
I might though, in a few months, and truly, I enjoy the fuck out of getting drunk, if you're young, I recommend it, and if you're old can afford it economically and life-stance wise, then yeah go for it, if your health is a bit fucky, yeah, you might have to sacrifice it till you get back on track

Need to get a Mac so I can test my PWA on Safari and the iPhone Simulator. Fuck Apple. They should release Xcode and the iPhone Simulator for Linux but they won't because they're cunts.

interesting, how so? ai is saying it doesn't require credit card info is that so? and if it does require one, can there be surprise cost? and what does your site looks like, what does it display/do?

I have to use Java at work, Spring Boot is too heavy for what we want, are any of the alternative frameworks like Javalin or Dropwizard worth looking at? Or should I just go raw Spring.

For me it's .Net Core 10 with my bespoke Vue Option API to ES class shim.

I used debian while studying, it was ok, better than fedora back then
>>
>>108790419
wdym it's too heavy? in terms of resource consumption or jar size?

anyway, go with Quarkus. You can also try using native compilation for it which will further lower resource consumption.

I made a game with Three and Vue that runs surprisingly well, didn't even need to bother to optimize much. Good stuff.

Try it out: https://testing.cliax-games.com/

Jar size and startup time. It takes like 9s, which is a bit dofus for a boring CSV ingestion service with like 2 Crud operations. It's doing some janky cleanup so I'm a but unfazed if it doesn't run quickly, but the startup adds up.

You replied to the wrong post but now you've brought my attention to your earlier post:
>>108790419
I've tried Javalin in the past for a hobby project. I preferred it to Spring Boot which seemed fucking convoluted to me. But to be honest I haven't used Java that much, only a bit.

Thoughts on Rust for a website back-end? I have never used Rust but of course it's meant to be amongst the most performant languages, along with C and C++. But Rust of course is supposed to eliminate memory safety vulnerabilities, or at least reduce them a lot.

Lemmy is social media software which has a Rust back-end. Lemmy is basically a FOSS alternative to Reddit, just like Mastodon is a FOSS alternative to X.

Lol you're right there's a vibe coding general. I never saw that before because my /g/ bookmark is along the lines of:
>boards.4chan.org/g/catalog#s=wdg/|fglt/
Which means I only see threads that match my search query.
