man built an altoids computer

HOWEVER he had to eat all altoids inside the tin before he was able to fit a computer in there

What's the difference between this and a used Galaxy S10? Beside the incredibly dogshit display/cpu/storage/camera...

x86 phones when?
>>
>>108786748
Looks uncomfortable to hold, but at least it's better than that IED looking clock that one kid made.

>x86 phones when?
Underage spotted.
>>
I've heard building radios in Altoids tins was once a common electronics project. Pretty cool.

Would an underage know about running half life 2 on an x86 phone? C'mon man face it, ARM CPU = toy computer for iToddlers.

But you can just take the altoids out and put them somewhere else. In a jar or something.

Mark the Mint Man has evolved

Isn't there a Half Life 2 release for the Nvidia Shield? That's an ARM chip.

I'm so sick of reddit building raspi emulation appliances with 800ms input lag. You know what runs emulators really well? Any decent phone made in the last 7 years or so. A lot of them even hook up to TVs.

At least build a foldout qwerty keyboard with epoxied Altoids for keys and a vacuum fluorescent display. Make it a gopher client. Or something. Just have some fucking whimsy man.

These are the worst ones. Spearmint and Cinnamon are the best.

I volunteer to eat all the altoids for anyone who wants to make this computer.

Comfort is not the point. It's the amusement of putting things into preexisting, and compact spaces.

Over time that tin is going to rust and get unpleasant.
>>
>>108786927
But then you'd be performing additional actions of having to put them somewhere, as well as eventually having to take them out again, just to have the inevitable task of eating them hanging over your head for an indefinite amount of time.

Tin does not rust.
>>
>>108789292
are you sure bro? they're curiously strong

I'm a Kendal's Cake man myself, me

Candy tins (container) are not made of tin (atomic number 50)
>>
>>108786748
This is such an old idea. I remember as a kid I had no idea what an "altoid" is when people were talking about Altoids computers.

Aluminium does not rust either.
>>
>>108786926
you can compile hl2 for arm or you can just use fex/box64 dumbass
