>Your brain turns a rapidly changing grid of colored lights into a stable world.this shit blows my mind
what if i told you the brain named itself
just wait until you learn what sound is
>>108787570>>108787588It's less the brain part and more the rapidly changing lights part. That's really crazy, the computer rapidly sends RGB info to a bunch of tiny light bulbs. That info gets updated faster than your brain can notice, creating a seamless world of videos and physics and 3D matrix graphics that your brain can hardly distinguish from real life, and it's just a bunch of lights perfectly coordinated together.
>>108787557What of it? What your senses take in is not what you perceive.Whatever input is received is first filtered massively and then interpreted by your brain. You can take psilocybin or some other 5-HT2A to open up that filter a bit or some NMDA antagonist to break your interpretation of those signals to maybe perceive something closer to what data actually reaches your eyes. That of course won't exactly help you much if you want to perceive the world as it actually is, that's not possible for your brain.
>>108787557not rapidly enough, 24fps might be "cinematic" but it's not realistic
>>108787690I'm surprised is only takes like 20 Hz as well
>if you stimulate the three color cells in your eyes they produce colors
>>108787985>if you stimulate your penis it shoots cumfascinating
>>108787557Well, oversimplified, your eyes take red green and blue values from the environment and your brain interprets it as color, a monitor is exploiting that
ideally you'd have neuro translators that skip the ears and eyes to provide data more directly to the nerve pathways leading to the brainthen you could at least watch anime even if your senses have degraded
>>108787557>Your brain turns 2 images into a single 3d image.
>>108788089speaking of thathttps://youtu.be/_QCjrMqZFQE
>>108788089what's da sauce
>>108787557im looking at my computer screen and just wow, i cant believe that its actually happening and my eyes are seeing it. this is fucking INSANE
>>108787557>Displays used to be so utterly fast and precise they literally drew the entire screen dot by dot 60 times a second with fucking ELECTRONSNigga you have no idea
zoom out
>>108790160This thing is fucking insane.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jW7M8H99x7Y
>>108787557Your brain hallucinates an image of reality based on external inputs and fills in gaps on its own. Dreaming is what happens when the brain hallucinates inputs without that external input to constrain it, it still has the ability to form visual shapes.
