When I'm trying to load some websites on my phone cloudflare pops up and I get the 'openen camera' icon for a second on the status bar. It's trying to open my camera to identify that I'm not a bot? The spyware is getting out of control.
*opened camera
>>108791567It's not trying, it's doing it.
>>108791567>trying to open my camerait already opened you're camera and took a picture
But how do we identify that Cloudflare isn't a robot? I say those guys are clankers in disguise.
>>108792560>>108791567So if I have a phone case with a camera cover, cloudflare would just stick itself into a loop or something while I just assume their "services" are down again?
>Fake and gay storyI hate weekends when the site is full of kids

This shit is getting out of hand...I'm not one of the people that cares about privacy or security and I'm getting frustrated and pissed off lately. I can't imagine what the non-moderates feel like.
>>108791567how to you think they verify you are human. they take a picture of you and run it through a national facial database.
>>108793537If I had to guess, I would say it is probing whether you have a camera available to request, on the basis that headless servers won't have webcams or phone cameras, but most laptops and all phones will. That verification they do is basically running a large set of fingerprinting operations to try and sort you out from a bot, and camera availability is one datum in that fingerprinting.
>>108794166Why shouldnt cloudflare get to https://www.abc4.com/news/tech-social-media/yes-your-iphone-is-taking-invisible-pictures-of-you/I need to be setting up a selfie to big mommy when i click the captcha button
>>108794293Literally just read the article you posted and it should be apparent why Cloudflare wouldn't have access to this.
