What's the best non-Mac laptop that allows to comfortably use Ligthroom and occasionally launch a /v/ideo game?
save yourself some trouble, dont be a poorfag and just grab pic related in the m5 (pro) config - like any professional that is starting out (noticedhow most of the OpeanAI, Anthropic SWE gigabrains use a mac, quite the coincidence hmm?)
>>108791775Yeah but will it run vidya games?
>>108791821Yes, but don't buy MacBook unless you can afford the 16 inch m5 one, it's the only one with two fans.14 inch m5 pro has 1 cooling fan, air or neo don't have fans at all.
>>108791821The problem you'll find is that you will only achieve decent FPS on recent titles if you have a macbook at least 3 times the price of any good laptop for that purpose. Basically at that point you could just grab a cheaper macbook for whatever artfaggotry AND a gayming PC even with the current prices.
>gaming laptopWatching zoomers torture themselves will never stop being funny
>>108791945holy poorfag
>>108791821Yes, but only good games (PS3 era and before). A select few modern games can run (Death Stranding, Crimson Desert). It basically has a built in shitty games filter.
>>108792757>Death Stranding, Crimson DesertSo it filters -in- shitty games?
>>108792744Yeah I guess all of us should rush to an Apple store to spend over 3 grand to get an apple laptop that can run elden ring at 60fps without shitting itself or we haven't made it
>>108792817just say you dont care about the ick bro
Get a desktop and a thin and light laptop to remote into the tower. Don’t fall for gaming laptop meme.
>>108791751>Computer 1 - HP Pavilion from around 20131.) I have a separate older laptop running Windows 10 that runs Lightroom.>Computer 2 - Home Build from 2024 (there are two additional storage SSDs - one for music and one for everything else) 2.) I also have 3 OS's, installed on 3 different physical SSDs, one of them running Windows and Lightroom/Photoshop. 3.) Another one of the SSDs on #2, above, has Windows 11 + Steam installed. 4.) Another SSD is used for my favorite Linux distro, which I will not name.I recommend using a separate computer/laptop than your gaming laptop for Lightroom. Also, don't allow it internet access. I have other laptops too. I have another one that runs Windows, but its a virgin. I want to use it for Autocad. (autocad has a retarded UI for new users)I just cannibalized another laptop like 2 weeks ago and kept key components. The monitor was acting retarded and I'm not replacing screens again. fuck that.
