USA over 300 mil people, access to EU market
Europe like 400 mil people, access to USA market
China under 1 bil (commies lie about over 1 bil people), access to every market on the planet
Japan is like a little over 100 mil people

You can't have some things if you don't have large enough population. Inner market is the untimate backup plan when competition bribes local admin for protectionism. 100 mil is not enough to sustain AI industry. Hardly enough to have enough talent to drive that thing and keep up with the pace of innovations.

Ever since the U.S. forced them to kill TRON at the behest of Microslop, they've lost any and all interest in coding/computer stuff. Their entire internet is stuck in like the early 2000s.

ElevenLabs was founded by Polish guys and it's likely that the reason they're headquartered in the UK is because the communist government of Poland wouldn't let them grow the way they did in the UK.
Literally communist btw, we have actual ex-commies in the government now.

99% of the point of these models is the scaffolding around it, the models themselves have actually become far worse on all metrics for the past couple releases at all vendors (only latest release is worse at anthropic though) to the point they're useless-tier.
But the scaffolding has continued to be developed quite nicely and can do some pretty crazy shit. So your performance really depends on the exact tool. Claude chat on the web uses a lot of orchestration, chatgpt nearly none. But in the API, gpt-4o outperforms sonnet 4.6 on basically everything if using the same tool for both.

Price-wise, the subscriptions are highly capped while the token price is typically genuinely prohibitive. What people typically do to optimize price per token is to buy multiple of the 2nd tier subscription service, which comes out as being cheaper with a higher limit than a single higher tier subscription. API token price will depend on usage patterns, but programming is extremely feedback-oriented to get even the simplest programs working, and extensive context is required for every link in the feedback, thus it is usually amazingly expensive. Think $150k per month expensive in extreme cases.

only for jewthropic, codex has been getting better
>>
>>108802339
"Codex" is, again, not the model but the orchestration around it. The models are shitting the bed, the orchestration is improving. If you have the right plans you can select which model to use with codex and compare.
